Is George D Metellus working for Paramount+ now? Sounded like him doing the Argentine San Lorenzo vs Platense match from yesterday.
He does some work for them, yes through Mediapro. Mediapro and IMG is providing the coverage of the games for Paramount+...and George already does games for Mediapro through Libertadores/Sudamericana so it makes sense to them to use him here
Paramount+ also had Gary Bailey and Thomas Rongen covering some of the CONCACAF qualifiers. Metellus covered some of those games too on Paramount+.
Is the Gotham FC vs Orlando Pride match on Paramount tonight? I don’t see it on the live schedule but when I search it on the web it says on CBS Sports net isn’t that the same as paramount?
I see it on CBS Sports Network, which is a TV channel. But if it's on there, shouldn't it also be on Paramount+? It appears this may not necessarily be the case.
So I found on the cbs sports app Gotham vs Orlando was labeled as live college basketball lol I missed the first half
Probably too late for most of you, but if you have not watched Wednesday CL matches yet, there are spoilers for Dortmund-City during the Liverpool-Real match, but there are no spoilers for Liverpool-Real during the Dortmund-City match. So, if you are a neutral or like teams equally, start with Dortmund-City if you want to avoid spoilers.
Does anyone know how soon after a Europa match ends it'll be available for replay? I missed the exciting opening 25 mins of Arsenal's match today and would like to watch it sooner than later. TIA
https://www.frontrowsoccer.com/2021...-cup-qualifiers-men-and-women-nations-league/ CBS Sports said Thursday it has reached an agreement for exclusive U.S. English-language rights to Concacaf national team properties, confederation qualifiers for the 2023 Women’s World Cup, men’s Nations League and the women’s Nations League. Paramount Plus, CBS’s streaming service will carry more than 200 national team matches live, including at least 80 Concacaf Women’s World Cup qualifiers and more than 100 Concacaf Women’s Nations League contests. Select matches will also be available to air on other CBS Sports platforms.
Is every match of the Argentine Liga on Paramount+? I see on fanatiz they had the Velez vs Huracan match but I don't see it listed on Paramount.
I see it now on replays. I’d expect so many cancellations if they didn’t show this Buenos Aires Derby.
Today's UEFA CL match on Paramount+ is only 10-11 seconds behind my TV feed. Well done. Usually these things are a lot more delayed.
Streaming has lowered the bar so much, that we've come to think of 10-15 secs of lag in a live broadcast as being OK.
Yeah. It still can be a minute. Depending on the platform and the day. That was my point. Streaming is so far behind trad broadcast that we now think 10-15 secs is good.
It drives me nuts that the CBS commentators are so English team perspective. It is not like they have the EPL TV contract. I guess they're English speaking people, but still. These guys are such homers for Man City it drives me nuts.
That was Peter Drury & Jim Beglin, one of the better English pairings IMO. Yes it's natural for them to be a little more "attached" to the English clubs since that's who they commentate on all season long. I just watched the highlights so I can't pretend I heard all of what they said during the match, but let's just say that from what I saw, it's understandable how they called it.
I'm not a big fan of CBS's Golazzo shows or of Kate Abdo as the moderator, but I have to say when they brought her dad on via Zoom for about 10 minutes that was cute and maybe the most endearing thing I've seen in Kate. Not to mention her dad could probably hold his own as a regular on their show... he could take Carragher's spot if it was up to me.
