One thing I wanted to give credit for Pulisic? Maybe his most impressive highlite feat was sidefooting a whipped in cross into a legit good shot that required a good save..a foot or so off the ground. That shot/save eventually led to Chelsea's first goal, but if that had gone it, that's a highlite reel goal of a really high difficulty and technical quotient. Ain't just anyone who can do that
My wife practically refuses to eat non dark. Actually something she told me was interesting, is that a lot of women tend to drift towards Dark in adulthood, but most kids hate it.
Eh, Ghiradelli is just OK...(and I too live in CA; in fact, I'm in the Bay Area, home of Ghiradelli). Makes sense kids wouldn't like dark choco since it's bitter, compared to milk choco.

Apropos of nothing, this image caused me to think about a hypothetical Premier League all-star vs MLS all-star match. And, of course, that in turn made me smile, because of how dissected to death that would be in this forum. Big match tomorrow for Chelsea and Pulisic. I hope he gets 20-30 minutes off the bench to stay warm before thrashing a hat trick into the net against Manchester City at Wembley.
Ghiradelli isn’t bad but it’s mostly for the tourists. A better California chocolate is Guittard from the culinary hotspot of Burlingame.
Haha I didn't think anyone referred to Burlinggame out side of either "I live there" or "oh that town near the airport and San Mateo". I'll have to try that chocolate though
With 4 goals and 1 assist, Pulisic ranks as the #65 scorer in the Premier, and #6 in Chelsea, behind Mount (6/4), Tammy (6/1), Jorginho (6/1), Timo (5/6), and Zouma (5/0). Giroud also has 4 goals but no assists.
Giroud has way more in the Champion's League this season right? Considering all the plaudits this season, one would think he's done far better.
I keep going back and forth on this. Do you ride CP's hot streak and risk pushing him past his physical limits? I think if it were 0-0, you'd probably have no choice. But at 2-0, they may be able to make it without him. I think rotating him out and maybe bringing him in if the game doesn't go Chelsea's way is a good option. The counter-argument is that he's been so good in the Champions League. But wouldn't you like to see what a rested CP could do against City? Besides, TT has really been neglecting Abraham and Giroud. One of them might get the start. I'm glad I'm not responsible for the lineup because it's a real challenge.
Rest and maybe sub late. Why risk a players health when you have a clear advantage. He is available. It is just not mandatory he start. Countering will be the order of the day and that is Werner's specialty. Maybe he can put one in for a change.
A couple more honors: Christian Pulisic is @WhoScored Premier League player of the week!#USMNT pic.twitter.com/LDelXJDLyy— USMNT Universe (@UsmntU) April 13, 2021
I think this. At the very least it will keep his numbers down, giving all of our resident "realists" the fodder they need to tell us he isn't all that. Without that role to play , no telling what they might do.
Okay, getting back on topic with the chocolate discussion... the best chocolate I've ever had in my life came by way of a friend's parents who would bring back chocolate from trips to Switzerland. Soft, delectable, and amazing. I suspect Pulisic might be fighting an uphill battle come May 30.
Mount has one assist from the run of play. Jorginho mostly scores penalties. Timo has a penalty scored as well. Zouma scores all his goals off corner kicks.
An update from the 3rd hand source (he knows a friend of the family) Tuchel wanted Pulisic to integrate to his system before fully unleashing him, which is happening now Christian isn't going anywhere this summer Pulisic's hamstring problems are partly down to him gaining muscle weight during the layoff during the pandemic - which helped his restart, but which may have been too much weight too quickly, for his muscle types (fast twitch etc), so they're working with him on the right balance, and the hope is with a good offseason training program that it'll get cleared up Most important take away? He's happy with Tuchel
