He's now got a total of 13 goals in 46 league matches for Chelsea with 16 in 65 overall. Not too shabby considering lots of injuries, some poor form and competition for plating time. Perhaps, there's still time for him to end the season on a high.
That’s multiple times I’ve seen you post facts that you’ve googled yourself instead of asking the board... ...If the real LouisianaViking is being held hostage, blink really fast!!!
I'm not talking quality. I'm saying what I heard is happening. Chelski told Z to look for greener pastures this summer.
That’s possible! An intriguing thought!! We’ll never know! Or we might!!! Stay tuned!!! I’m kicking it with Crawleybus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Interesting, but Haaland isn't going to kick Z to the curb- they play different roles. I suspect it's the end of both Tammy and Giroud. My guess is that the drop off in value on Warner will be so extreme that CFC probably keep him and try to find a way to make him fit in the new formation. We will see.
I was thinking the same thing...a few more goals and his statistic would look decent considering all the chaos and injuries he's gone thru during this campaign. only 2 less premiere league goals than Mason Mount and Mason has played more than a 1000 minutes more than CP. Not bad since Mason is being heralded as the next British Maradona by the British Press.
Not sure which site - a buddy mentioned they read it recently. A quick search will probably find it. I'll look when I get a minute, see if it's a legit source. Not sure if this is where he saw it, but it's the first thing that came up, fwiw. SI and others are reporting similar. There was a lot of chatter along these lines back in Jan/Feb too. Wouldn't be surprised. He can't be happy. https://www.teamtalk.com/news/observer-explains-why-costly-lampard-signing-will-be-sold-by-tuchel
Agreed. Ziyech seems to have a better skill set than Werner (other than speed). I don't think he has gotten a fair shot in a crowded, talented squad.

Given CP took a knock when he scored his second, played through it, and went 90...maybe we can stop with the whole "he's soft" criticisms? Muscle injuries are different than bumps and bruises. I'd be willing to bet CP has bruises up and down his shins.
I think it is a good sign that he listened to his body and took himself out of the game a few games back rather than trying to push thru it. It is a fine line. It worked out like gang-busters for him this time. But I think it will take a lot of work for him to get thru his label of being injury prone. It is what it is. Being able to stay on the pitch means so much. IMO, Mount was kind of overrated last season... but he is available to play in every game and that experience is really starting to show. I think CP is quite a bit more talented offensively.... so if he could come close to matching Mount's minutes he is going to be a monster. <fingers-crossed>
Well sure, but there's a mile of difference between being "injury prone" and being "soft" - they aren't the same thing. Being soft means you can't play through minor injuries. Being injury prone means, for whatever reason, you get hurt a lot. CP may be the latter, but he's not the former. Taking yourself out when you are experiencing a tight hamstring when you have a history of hamstring injuries is being smart not soft.
