As much as I love some New Order ("Ceremony" is an all time great song... but then is that still Joy Division < thinking emoji>), they could definitely have lyrics that lame at times (see most relevant to this thread "World in Motion" for World Cup 1990) so it's believable lol
I think "World in Motion" was a half written song that they cheesed up for the World Cup. It's still the best England World Cup tune. This isn't:
Oh I like the song, just saying the lyrics are... not great. (Express yourself) It's one on one (Express yourself) It's one on one (Express yourself) You can't be wrong (Express yourself) When something's good it's never gone Love's got the world in motion And I know what we can do Love's got the world in motion And I can't believe it's true And I don't know about cheesed up for the World Cup, the non-lame parts are the John Barnes rap and the En-ger-land outro... [I deleted this from my previous comment but since I'm making another that's off topic...] As someone who only listens to the former now but only listed to the latter as a high schooler, I wonder if Wire's "12XU" (another great song) is quite as homophobic as the Minor Threat cover, or if that was the result of them being suburban teenagers in the early 80s unaware of British slang... in any case they unfortunately dialed it up to 11.

Julian Nagelsmann revealed that Tyler Adams considered leaving Leipzig last summer, but he convinced him to stay. 😮"In the summer he was dissatisfied. By the way, multiple consequential Yankfests this morning in Germany. Brooks versus Chandler (on the bench). Adams versus Sargent. Justin Che got into the Bayern II game today. Really one to keep an eye on. He's 17. They're not playing him with their U19 team. They're playing him with Bayern II in the German 3rd division. This is the division that Terrence Boyd, and his 14 USMNT caps, is playing in. Well by that logic it's more impressive any time some 16 or 17 year old gets minutes in MLS because they're doing so in a league that's significantly higher than Terrance Boyd's level!
A # of key players - Pulisic, Reyna, Weah, Dike, Aaronson, Adams, Dest, ARob, Brooks - are in good form right now. Most have enjoyed a turnaround from a dip. So things are looking up more from a senior A-team perspective. These things go in cycles. Form is temporary, class is permanent as they say. But from an NT perspective you have to pay attention to form because that's the version of the player you'll probably be getting in camp. It's not that they are doomed to that fate for eternity. He did.
Torre has been starting for Heracles. He's been doing well in raw numbers and algorithmic scores. CCV and Bournemouth have won four in a row to climb to the last playoffs place.
Dike 1380929992029261826 is not a valid tweet id Orkans looking smart for not settling for $10 million
Perea and Yueill are already better than Acosta but it would be nice to have a stronger #6 backup. And lb backup.
Pulisic got his finishing groove back, and a whole lot else. Apart from that little hammy pull that he's evidently recovered from already, it seems like the little national team spell helped him get his groove back.
Thinking for Barnsley in the playoffs who they prefer of the almost pre-ordained three of Brentford, Swansea, and Bournemouth. The later has experienced a resurgence of their own, and Brentford have remained hot but seem resigned for the number three spot. I think they want every bit of Swansea for the first match, thats their best pairing. Then Brentford in the final. Bournemouth seem to be pretty on form right now.
Regarding Puli's goals today, both were left footed smashers. Wow! he reminds me of Dempsey in the say he just keeps adding to his game.
theres still 7 matches left for barnsley (8 for the other playoff teams as it stands, with reading only 5 points back)- they really shouldnt be thinking ahead to potential matches.
the first was hit in the only spot (and as you said with power) that finds the back of the net. thats an underrated quality.

Also, a yankfest in Belgium this morning. Durkin's club appears pretty safe from relegation at the moment, although not completely out of the woods due to the structure of that league. In Belgium, Genk 4-0 St. Truiden FT. Mark McKenzie played the 2nd half in the win (St. Truiden was up 3-0 at HY). Chris Durkin came into the game in the 34th minute for St Truiden. Genk remains in 2nd place #USMNT— Brian Sciaretta (@BrianSciaretta) April 11, 2021
No kidding. Folks should look at transfer fees for highly preforming Championship strikers. I'll just give one example. Ollie Watkins from Brentford to Aston Villa for over 35 million dollars. One can make an argument that since his arrival, Dike has been the best forward in the Championship. Daryl Dike is the only player in the Championship with both of the following:-A non-penalty goal rate per 90 of at least 0.60-A goal conversion rate of at least 35%Dike is currently at 0.77 and 40% (8 goals on 20 total shots, via SofaScore) respectively.— ChuckMe92 Soccer (@ChuckMe92Soccer) April 11, 2021

Here's the McKennie goal. Must have been a tight offside call. Defender on the bottom of the screen looks to have kept him on. Has McKennie scored the most goals by a USMNTer in a Serie A season?
