Real Madrid have played 10 "big" games this season. Against Barcelona, Atlético Madrid, Sevilla, Liverpool, Atalanta, Inter. They've won 9, drawn 1, lost 0 of those games.— Colin Millar (@Millar_Colin) April 10, 2021
I'm so happy right now. Vini is simply too frustrating still with finishing and decision making. Things would've been less complicated if we had a smarter player upfront with Benzema. Can't believe how close we are to winning la liga again. Amazing stuff man.
Happy for him, especially considering his situation during the debut and not having had much PT but everything he says makes me want to root for him, now he is playing and playing damn well.
WHAT A FIGHT. fatigue, some tired, some chanches, that post on last second... omg. not good for my heart. but 2/2, AMAZING
Good shit fellas. Your pressure was what made the difference. We had no time or space to think. #respect #but********madridmourinho
Forced changes in Valverde, L Vazquez and the Liverpool game in hand.. I understand those changes. Plus we had ourselves to blame.. We blew so many chances it’s unreal.. This game should have been over in the first half!
Wow. Bein guy just said Barcelona are gonna win the league when they beat Atleti. Phil was in mourning. He said Madrid league leader........ for now.
A new CB pairing with a GK they sparsely play with was intense. Casemiro was intense. Took one for the team. Modric was golden. Kroos was good. Vini did his bit. Benzema a commando. Courtois was immense. Zizou took a risk and it was tension but it paid off. I don't know what he tells players to have them give their all. Odriozola was ehhh... Btw why was Fede taken off? I felt he would have helped Odri more had he stayed on
Yeah, he was back to being incredibly skittish. That pass to Benzema was not only poorly executed, but it was ill-timed. He just needs to take half a second more in those moments, like Mbappe did the other day when his feint left the keeper on the wrong foot and made the defender overstretch.
Zizou wins 3 classicos in a row for the first time since the 70s. Hope Lucas' injury isn't too bad, Odriziola was a turnover machine out there today. Since coming on Alba got super dangerous.
Barca have been fantastic the last 4-5 months. They were undefeated in 20 games until tonight, had a full week to prepare for this game, and had most of their starting lineup fit apart from Pique. On the other hand, we finished the game with Odriozola, Isco, Marcelo, and Mariano on the pitch, with one man down - and somehow still beat the Cules. I think even Zidane's haters need to give him some credit here. He read the game to perfection - Barca presses extremely high and trying to control midfield against that is risky. So we ceded possession and looked for openings with our pace. The first goal was a perfect example of that, and Valverde was the key piece covering Jordi Alba in defense and attacking spaces going forward. We really could have had 3-4 in the first half. The 2nd half was once again underwhelming from us, but I think the conditions, Barca's extra rest days, and our injury problems all played against us and that 2nd half was more about grit than tactics or skill, and we came out on top. This team really lived up to the badge today and gave it everything. Take a bow.

I got a lot of respect for Nacho and Lucas Vasquez. They work their ass off every game. I have no issues with Nacho being a starting CB, he is fast and does his job without fuss. When Lucas went off suddenly Barca crosses started coming from that side of the pitch, and all our crosses from the right of the pitch started becoming Barca goal kicks.
He was never going to get much playing time behind Rafa and Sergio so none of that surprised me, i expected to see him more in the Copa to get a look at him but we can't seem to figure out that comp right now, so we didn't get to see him, hence all these other names cropping up as alternatives
