He finally touched the ball this second half. It was a nice cross.

I've watched three or four of his games at Heracles, and he seems to be a very tidy player. Good game sense, his positioning and anticipation are excellent on defense, and he passes quickly and accurately. I'm not sure how athletic he is, but as far as NT play goes, he seems to be a step up from either Yueill, Roldan or Trapp. Not a particularly high bar, but if we need someone to spell Adams he may fit the bill.

Started, went 90. And won a door prize.

    But they lost, 3-1.

Went 90 in a (presumably) dominant 4-0 win.

Navajo Backboard is one of my favorite prospects. Expect to see a national team tug-of-war soon.

Whole lotta people in the world name Cheyenne - not too many of them are actually Cheyenne...

Most likely... benign appropriation by his parents, as noted above - weirdly, a lot of those Cheyenne named folks above pretend / believe they are Cherokee

    Seven the French Club
    Between?
To the best of my knowledge, no - nor would FIFA likely recognize it. The Haudenosaunee (The Six Nations / Iroquois) have enough trouble with the governing body of Lacrosse, not to mention shithole countries like Ingurland / Canuckistan not recognizing their passports

    ASN interview:

    http://www.americansoccernow.com/ar...-la-torre-ambitious-for-both-club-amp-country

“The second day of pre-season, the coach said that he thinks I'm not a winger and that he wants me to start playing as a wide player to learn the system and to get used to the players - but that in the future I'll probably be playing in the middle,” de la Torre said. “That's pretty much exactly what happened.”

“I think I never had any doubt that I had the quality,” he added. “It was just a matter of getting the opportunity. I was in the position at Fulham where I would get 20 minutes in a league game and I knew that if I didn't score a goal or do really well, then I probably wouldn't get another chance for another three or four months. To start so many games in a row, of course, that's what every player needs.”
