$100 for a T-Shirt? That looks more like a fan-designed jersey for their Twitter feed than an officially licensed product. It better come with a b***j**. Thx, Jay!
they look fine to me - I don't want one, because I'm spending my bucks on decent home and away uniforms - but these are NOT eye-bleeding
I was just recently cleaning out some dresser drawers and throwing away old T-shirts and this looks exactly like one of those old free t-shirts. Even then we wondered where they got that design.
You know the other teams from 96 got close or dead on knock offs of their 1996 jerseys? LAG got this 1990s looking satin style jacket that rocks. I'd have bought the long sleeve if had a crest not that logo from the cat in the hat jersey's shadow print.
Pablo Iglesias Maurer @MLSist #DCU The club has hired Lucy Rushton, formerly of #ATLUTD, as its new GM. Dave Kasper, the club's current GM, will move to a different role at the club.
D.C. United interviewed around six candidates for the GM job, including Minnesota’s Amos Magee, before hiring Lucy Rushton, who in 2015-16 was in talks with DCU for a job on the technical staff. https://t.co/qXnPUtvBDR— Steven Goff (@SoccerInsider) April 13, 2021 According to Goff she went from interviewing for a job on the technical staff to getting hired as the GM? How exactly do you go from interviewing for an individual contributor roll to being GM? And she was competing for that tech staff job with Amos McGee who left here before last year as an assistant coach if memory serves me.
That’s a massive change. Not sure if it’s a good change. I think that Kasper has done a good job, over the years, of sifting through the drags of international pro soccer looking for role players and potential starters. There have been a lot of misses, but considering our owners’ lack of financial clout, that’s only to be expected. Kasper also understands the mysteries of MLS salary refs.
After reading about her all day yesterday, she definitely has the resume and experience for this job; can't wait to see how she does. Will be nice to still see Dave around, he's fun to talk to. Well, that was a while ago and someone else hired her to do that work so she's been gaining that experience for a bit.
