Those murdering Neanderthals!!! The new hospitalization numbers are out & nearly 4 weeks after lifting their mask mandate, hospitalizations in Texas continue to decline, down -37% so farJust imagine how embarrassing it would be for experts & media if they had described removing mask mandates as “anti-science” pic.twitter.com/oJCKtUC34p— Ian Miller (@ianmSC) April 4, 2021
Fauxi “following the science” just wrong again. He’s an evil man, should be prosecuted for crimes against humanity 1378840174013124610 is not a valid tweet id
I expect MLS to move its HQ from NY If Georgia is Jim Crow 2.0...what does that make NY...where MLB is headquartered? pic.twitter.com/M1uGnXv08m— Will Cain (@willcain) April 5, 2021
Take me out the Ballgame, take me out to the park, leave all the virus losers at home with their masks, I don’t care if I they ever get vaxxed!! Looks like Texas is done with the ro https://t.co/DQwgcp2hnk— Alex Berenson (@AlexBerenson) April 5, 2021
can’t challenge him on his reporting so attack him with anonymous “former colleagues” comments. Like most of you virus doomers make fun of some guys Twitter name when he posts virus curves but never offer any argument against the actual data presented. We are still at Code Red Alert!!
Oh, he’s not sure!! You doomers worship at the feet of a guy who says whoever pays him wants to hear!! He has no idea what he’s doing. He just makes it up. https://t.co/YFVABB53HB— John Cardillo (@johncardillo) April 6, 2021
I've laughed and shit people post on twitter or the crap you repost here, but I'm not sure I've seen someone "make fun of some guys Twitter name". Now, I've seen you consistently resort to 3rd grade name calling and throw a Trumpertantrum when people post something you don't agree with or total disregard the topic of a post to insert some unrelated attack.....but I digress. BTW what do you call a "woke" conservative? asking for a friend.
The experts!! Trust Fauci!! Trust the government health experts! pic.twitter.com/QMI06G8Y7t— Jordan Schachtel @ dossier.today (@JordanSchachtel) April 6, 2021
@juvechelsea - this seems like a law or practice you’d like to see brought to America: https://nypost.com/2021/04/06/philippines-man-dies-after-doing-squats-as-covid-curfew-punishment/
My daily reminder that masks work!! Things continue to go well in the Philippines, cause masks work pic.twitter.com/teGEoX9uhE— Ian Miller (@ianmSC) April 6, 2021
@juvechelsea - do news stories like this just jack you up??? Canada looks perfect for you!! https://www.vice.com/en/article/4av...ff-by-authorities-for-breaking-covid-19-rules
But wait, we’ve been told how Canada was “following the science” and doing it right the whole time - so how can this be happening? https://nationalpost.com/news/canad...-stay-at-home-order-starting-thursday-sources
They are really stretching at the end here, can’t even cite hospital stats to support their theory that it’s all due to reduced testing and that the numbers are fake - but masks and lockdowns work!!!! This is legitimately one of the funniest videos I’ve ever seen. Like, if late night shows were still funny, they couldn’t have made a more hilarious video than this. https://t.co/eFodCnwV1d— Ian Miller (@ianmSC) April 8, 2021
Look at the case of Manaus, Brazil where, during their first wave of COVID-19 in April 2020, thousands of people died, the health care system collapsed and eventually 76% of the population was infected. After this initial deadly wave, authorities believed the Amazonian city of 2 million had reached herd immunity. Infections, deaths, and hospitalizations remained low for many months, so safeguards were removed, and restrictions were lifted. For some, this made sense. However, what happened next tells us otherwise. This past December, outbreaks returned with a vengeance. It’s not just another infection wave – it’s a tsunami. Today, hospitals are again overwhelmed in Manaus and across Brazil. Sadly, the daily death toll in Brazil is now one of the highest in the world – over 4,000. Why should we care about Manaus? Because it can happen anywhere. But it doesn’t have to. Let’s learn from it and save lives instead of losing them. Let’s encourage as many people as possible to consider getting a shot. immunity The story of Manaus teaches us a lot about ‘natural immunity’. Authorities felt they had achieved herd immunity and were therefore protected against future waves without mass inoculations. It is true that people previously infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus develop what experts call “natural immunity” – obtaining antibodies without vaccination. This immunity, however, declines over time and leaves us susceptible to the mutating virus. That is why experts urge even those who’ve been infected to get a shot. The vaccines now being administered around the world are proving effective, even against many variants. variants and vaccinations Variants are a concern. In fact, the spikes in France, Germany, India and Michigan are being attributed significantly to variants and a relaxation of safeguards. Yet these are also areas with lower percentages of their population vaccinated. In contrast, Israel, where the variant B.1.1.7 (first identified in the United Kingdom) was prevalent, vaccination percentages are one of the highest in the world, and there are few new cases. These examples are proof that variants alone are not responsible for the rise of infections. The mistake is the removal of safeguards and restrictions before the majority of the population is vaccinated. Let’s learn from that too. We know that variants are natural. And thankfully, most mutations are unsuccessful and are unable to replicate and spread. Moreover, we know how to prevent the transmission of variants – vaccinations and safeguards. Experts agree that a shot of any vaccine offers more protection than no shot at all. This is true even against variants and even if you’ve been previously infected.
Whatever - did @juvechelsea write that for you? wasn’t Manaus the place where a whole bunch of World Cup players were supposed to die from malaria in 2014? Doomers gonna doom, maybe we will be the “next Brazil” that all of the doomers have predicted!!!! Go live in the basement
I've seen that explanation on twitter saying that Texas is 3 weeks behind in reporting and there is significantly reduced testing. But it belies the point that vaccinations of those who are more vulnerable are increasing daily and that 98% of those who are not the vulnerable do not get significant problems that require hospitalization from catching the virus. The State Dept of Health publishes its data daily and I can't believe that they're 3 weeks behind. Hospitalizations are way down, I couldn't find the stats for the vulnerable (65 +) but nearly 30 percent of the overall population of the State have received the vaccine. But does testing matter when the most vulnerable are vaccinated?
here’s what’s going on - the media narrative was that all the red states would be in a disaster scenario of death once mask mandates were removed and things opened up more by Neanderthals. Unfortunately for them the exact opposite has happened - many of the blue “follow the science” states have seen their numbers go up by keeping restrictions in place. So the media is now searching for ways to support the blue states by trying to come up with ways in which the red states are hiding cases or cutting testing to prove the red state way isn’t really working. The numbers don’t support them so they are ginning up ways to try and prove their point. Go look at 60 Minutes trying selectively editing DeSantis’ response to them on the claim of preferential vaccine contracts - terribly deceptive. They can’t bear to admit Florida got it right and New York got it wrong.
45% of all active US cases are in 5 states NY MI PN NJ (relaxed restrictions + new more contagious variants) and Florida (no restrictions + allowed a surge of college students in for Spring Break cash infusion)
My father in law ahd a terrible Hernia and kidney stone episode - couldn't get out of an emergency room until almost two days because of lack of rooms in hospital - alot of rooms taken up by COVID patients. Many hospitalized Covid patients now in the area are from outside rural counties. My sister in law's friend is about to lose her 45 yo husband to COVID. If we continue to all get vaccinated the infection rate will go down to insignificance and there really won't need any restrictions
Oh, it’s the “variants” for the blue states but for Florida it’s no restrictions. Got it - BTW, the case rate for Florida last 7 days is about 10th but since they have a lot of people it had a higher gross amount of cases (and hey, how many came from the Northeast people going to Florida to escape taxes??)
Go look at SETRAC data, Covid % of hospital beds is way down, your father in law story can’t be that recent unless it was an odd hospital. Houston area now has 35% of the Covid patients in hospital at winter peak in January. Less than a 1/3rd of July peak. https://app.powerbi.com/view?r=eyJr...wZTgtNGQzMS04YjZmLTdlMGUzYmUxMGUwOCIsImMiOjN9
Canada doing a great job shutting its borders and enforcing masks!!! Ontario, Canada, despite a universal masking policy, announced a month long stay at home order yesterday in yet another example of success for the CDC’s assertion that universal masking policies can help avert future lockdowns.Great work, guys! pic.twitter.com/zJDCJPvLR0— Ian Miller (@ianmSC) April 8, 2021
Astros game was fun, everyone wears mask in then 80% take them off at seats and has a good time. No social distancing in most sections. I didn’t see any dead bodies and there didn’t appear to be a temporary morgue outside Minute Maid Park for all of the Neanderthals. Was really expecting to see dead bodies stacked up behind the Crawford Boxes for lack of mask compliance and deaths. I guess I just need to wait a few weeks for all of the death that came out of last nights game, just like Beto and the rest of the doomers predicted after Abbott ended the mask mandate
