Penn State's final regular season game v. Maryland in College Park moved to 12 noon tomorrow (3/31) due to weather forecast for tomorrow evening (game was supposed to be played at 5 pm). Game will be broadcast on BTN. Let's Go Nittany Lions!
Yea, same here. But given the guidance from MD below not sure we would have gotten in anyway, unless you are family of the players, in the Terp Club, or some other connection. (On TV I have seen some folks watching Terps soccer from the top of the hill behind the north goal, but not sure if that is officially ok-ed either.) The way I read the info at the link below, even MD students seemingly can't attend any game until at least April 5th. As far as I can see, Penn State has yet to issue any guidance on attending any pending spring sports games, and in other words it seems there has been no change since the previous policy that essentially no general admission is allowed. Penn State v. Maryland ends tied 2-2 after two overtime periods. PSU came back from behind at 1-0 and 2-1 to earn the point on the road. Nittany Lions end the season regular season at 6-1-1.
" ... The men's team is seeded No. 2 in the Big Ten Tournament and will host the No. 7 seed Ohio State Buckeyes in the quarterfinals on Saturday, April 10 at noon at Jeffrey Field. The game will be broadcast live on BTN, the Nittany Lions' fourth televised game this season. Dean Linke (pxp) and Patrick Doody (analyst) will be on the call ... The social media and website posts from the team say nothing about fans being allowed to attend the B1G tourney game v. Ohio State. I reached out to the team's operations director twice earlier in the season, but not recently, to ask about fans at the games, and both times the answer was "no fans," and the last time I called a couple of weeks ago was after the B1G said that schools could make those decisions on fans themselves. Seemingly Penn State decided not to take advantage of the possible changed to allow fans. Thus I take it that remains the rule, i.e., no fans. I did notice that at the last home game at Penn State which I watched on TV, there were quite a few fans just outside the field's fence on pubic property behind the pitch's north goal watching the game, and making a bit of noise for the guys too. That certainly not a great vantage point to watch the game, but I understand the boys and the coaches appreciated the support. I think a couple or so family members of the players are still allowed to attend the games in person. How about Indiana? Fans allowed at the game on Saturday evening?

Congrats and fair play to Georgetown on the big win and moving on to the quarterfinals. Obviously disappointing result to end the season for the Nittany Lions, but clearly lots of good, tough work this fall and spring. Proud and a pleasure to support the Penn State men this season. All the best to the blue and white going forward.
