    First things first.

Check out The Draft Central page over at RevsNet for all you internet coverage needs.

The video webcast should show up on the Sight and Sounds page at MLSNet at around noon eastern.

And "BigSoccerDCU" is the AIM chatroom for the DC United board.

Fifteen minutes to go before "kickoff" ...

Gotta love that the clip they use to promote Freddy is still the spanking he gave the LaLa Gals defense that time :)

I'm guessing most here are at the draft! But it looks like pick 25 was received somehow from CHI and given to MET (to fulfill top 30 pick from Moreno trade - so no top 20 pick in 2006 will be owed).

Only unexplained part of the draft order, I think.

So after all their bitching about getting screwed out of Freddy, Dallas trades their allocation...for Mulrooney?

I guess all the Barra and La Norte crew are still at the pub. Not hearing any drums to signify their presense :D

Matchnight correspondant say Dallas is over talking to the LA table now. And Columbus talking to San Jose.

Is this "Generation Addias" the new P-40? I haven't heard it before, but I don't think I heard them mention any of the players as P-40.

Drat. I was hoping we might get Ward.

Metrostars trade up to take him with our old #12 pick.

    The Draft on ESPN.Net

From the ongoing chat with Marc Connolly

Marc: (12:01 PM ET ) Here's how we'll do it....I'll try and write out the team, the selection and then anayze the picks as they happen. But they'll be times when I'm either updating information on trades or answering questions, so I suggest that you follow along on a Draft Tracker is you have access...on the league website.

Marc: (12:02 PM ET ) There are about 1,000 fans packed in here...and they are loud. Good to see.

Marc: (12:02 PM ET ) D.C. United is well-represented....and they are chanting already. It's good to be the Champ, clearly.

I am not sure the remaining defenders are worthy of a high pick.

Oliver probably would be my next choice for a center back. Nick Pollard from SMSU (Southwest Missouri) might be a good choice, he is good in the air and a tough tackler. Ryan Kelly might be available further down the line he is ^' 1" and a solid defender.

I would likely go with the best available player at this point. Maybe Will John.

Or maybe Nick Van Sicklen
