And if you really want to go in deep on the jersey and inspiration behind it. https://www.soundersfc.com/jimihendrixkit and the image from the team shop that has both front and back.
Honestly one of the best kits I've seen in the league, outside of that Zulily ad. BTW, Rapids will drop their kit at 9am tomorrow.
*eagerly searches for any leaks I missed but also praises the Rapids for deferring to the truly big current event of the day*

Good job, CR. I wonder if a sponsor is in the works (seems like it always is in this league). Good for the money, plus, in most cases (LAFC being a notable exception) I do like a simple sponsor logo.
The TransAmerica deal was originally for one year (2014), then was extended for 4 years when Howard was signed (through his contract end in 2019). They got them to extend it for an additional year after that (2020) but no word that they renewed. The fact that this doesn't have their logo is a good indicator they didn't. Its a hard sell right now. Minimal people in stadiums and the broadcast only goes out to people on DirecTV, which means there aren't a whole lot of people going to see the players wearing the ad on the jersey.
Gotta say the number of fans trying to claim that Team A stole Team B's design/color/etc, is getting eye rolling. First it was Orlando claiming Seattle copied them, now its Austin fans claiming the Rapids copied them.
Looks sharp, Rapids. I especially like the topographic/contour lines. And the green shorts/lack of monochrome. Well done!
Anyone with two eyes can see Colorado is not monochrome/all white. And it’s not even white. Aust!n can eff right off!
Have to say that I’m generally cool with this year’s kits as a whole. I dislike monochromatic kits in general and especially dislike the whole league having white as their change shirt option, and it seems like the league made some progress on at least on that second front even if some of the individual teams released stinkers. It’ll be interesting to how some of the secondary shirts look on TV/from the stands- Colorado, Dallas and Chicago come to mind with secondary options that will hopefully render something other than white from far away.
Just looking at the full list from Footy Headlines, here are my takes. Really like - Colorado, Galaxy (my personal favorite - just wish MLS wouldn't have the "plain back" rule), Seattle, Orlando, Austin home, SKC home (not in this photo for some reason) Like - Minnesota, Philadelphia, San Jose, Vancouver, Atlanta third Growing on me - Atlanta home, Cincinnati, Chicago away (except for the crest), CF Montreal (probably the only white kit that I like of this group), Toronto Meh - Miami home, Houston, NYCFC, Red Bulls (the subtle checker keeps it from the bottom) Not a fan - LAFC, Nashville, Portland (the color block is fine, the triangles aren't) Ugh - Any other white kit, but DCU, the Revs, and Columbus are particularly bad. Dallas, Montreal's home, Chicago's home Biggest misses - Miami not wearing a pink change shirt, Montreal not sticking with a gray change shirt, LAFC not just switching the colors on its home kit for a change kit, Columbus not staying with a gold primary kit.
Montreal’s kit is still gray- it’s the same one as last year just with the new logo. Even has the dumb “three stripes on the shoulder” thing from last year still.
OK - the FH photos didn't show that very well. Move that one into the "Like" category, particularly since they didn't go with a monochrome look. I pretty much just discount the shoulder stripes. I can't stand them, but I'm also not going to discount a uniform for them since that was an Adidas decision.
