Somewhat off-topic, somewhat on-topic: MLS just released a special eMLS jersey. I'm not a gamer (I was in my tweens in the 80's before the internet). But it is pretty sleek.
When combined with the yellow shorts and socks the new Columbus short doesnt look so bad, but just the same i wish the Crew would not have strayed from the classic banana uniforms. Maybe a bumblebee hooped jersey?

For a team known as the Reds, it's definitely a change of pace. Wonder if they'll break out black shorts for it on occasion? Not a big fan of the pattern but I mean, I get why they (or adidas or both) feel like they like they need to switch it up given how they can't expect people to just buy a new all red jersey every couple of years. Who are we still waiting on for an official reveal? Seems like we're almost wrapped up at this point.

Purple Reign would also work given UW has used the phrase multiple times. But it might be too close to Minnesota.
The purple definitely does look brighter there than what I used in my mockup, but it’s supposed to be mixed in with navy blue. At least that’s what I’ve been told.
Maybe the darker parts will have the blue mixed in? I'm also going to guess from the lettering of the date that the pipping will be a brighter gold than what you showed.. Stefan Frei has been rocking a purple GK's uniform for awhile and it's reportedly a popular purchase at the Sounders team store, so maybe somewhat similar to below?
Happy about this, should be a nice change. Though I think the look would be diminished if paired with both light green shorts and socks. Say no to always monochrome!
FYI the Rapids announced today they're delaying today's jersey release in light of the shooting in Boulder yesterday. They'll announce the new release date at a later time.
Sounders are adding a local tribe and it's casino as a sleeve sponsor. On the third page of jersey's on the MLS Store I think they accidentally posted the new Sounder's kit TS
Someone working at the MLS Store apparently didn't have the coffee kick in, as it appears they didn't change the copy/paste from the Quakes over to the Sounders when posting that jersey as well.
They absolutely did.... Not a fan, but it's obvious they are leaning heavily on Jimi Hendrix for inspiration
