If we count the chances he created and did not officially recorded as assists, such as PKs won and deflected shots, Ito contributed to more than 31 goals in 31 matches (involved in scoring more than 1 goal per match in average).

Moreover, he contributed to more than half of the goals scored by Genk this season (around 60%). Without his goals, assists, and created scoring chances, Genk would have been ranked outside of the top 10 in the Belgian league table, instead of being ranked 3rd now.

 

He had another assist today to take his tally to 10 goals and 10 assists.

Genk won 4-0 against Sint-Truiden in a derby match with Ito involved in 3 of the 4 goals.

Ito was subbed out at the 60th minute as it seems he pulled a muscle. After Ito was subbed out the team did not score any further goals as they lacked the ignition of Ito's creativity.

 

Scored Genk's opener tonight In the Belgian Cup in a 1-2 win against Standard Liege.

Second title for Ito after winning the league title with Genk in 2019.

 

Two nice assists for Ito in the championship play-offs against Antwerp to give his team a thrilling 2-3 win.

 

Genk's striker Paul Onuachu is linked to a move to Arsenal this summer.

Bearing in mind the current trends of top Belgian clubs outgoing transfers, it is most likely Ito will either end up in England or Italy
