Love the numbering and how it has stayed red. Too bad that the hoop doesn't wrap around though.

Glad we're keeping the blue shorts as well.

I literally don't understand why the Fire cannot adapt this into a new red kit.

They not only got the blue right, but the shade of blue is finally closer to the color that Nike used in the late 90s. Adidas could never seem to get it right.

They can and will, but it just takes adidas a while to do their thing. Teams' 2022 jereys have already been approved and ordered, so gotta wait til the season after now that the team only decided to go back this winter.

For whatever it's worth Nike doesn't seem much better on this front. It's why supplier switches are usually negotiated a couple seasons before they actually happen.

as a neutral, I hated the previous jerseys because it made the numbers unreadable.

Nice to see a team keeping non-monochrome shirt/shorts/socks. Looks good.
Also like seeing the hoop being a distinctive theme/identifier of Van’s white shirt, kind of like LAG using the sash.

Completely agree. In a league of multiple “red” teams, the horizontal white bar was distinctively Chicago.
Talk about throwing away 20+ years of brand identity!

That looks really good. That shade of blue is not very common in MLS. Thumbs up from this neutral.

It was the one thing I realized after the fact I cared most about. The name? Meh, I could honestly do without 'Fire' when push comes to shove. The old logo? Looks like a generic fire department's logo. But the red shirt with the (usually) white stripe was the one thing that I really identified with the team. I didn't mind the few years they switched it up to a navy bar and all that, and if they flipped it and did navy with a red bar or something for a year or two I wouldn't mind, but 9 out of 10 times, the team that represents Chicago's primary kit should be some variation of the red shirt / white hoop.

I'd also like either white with a red stripe or gray with a red stripe.

Well done ‘quakes. There is a weird “stair step” thing going on on the right hand side of the jersey, where the adidas logo and the multi-tiered sponsor wordmark kind of looks like a descending staircase, but I mean, who cares- it’s a great look and something that long time fans look at and say “that’s San Jose’s kit”.

Quakes look good. Too bad when the Galaxy wore their new community kit style the Quakes were the Clash. Otherwise it would be neat to see the Cali Classico with matching “vintage” colors.

    Well done, San Jose!
This is the kit they should have stayed with from back in the day.

I like both of those (prefer LA), but @mbar has a point.

    Seattle?

Sounds like there is a bunch of moving parts for the launch. Even with all the social distancing measures needed in SEA.

Should be a doozy when its unveiled.

Yeah, but it doesn’t beat the logo for the Wiz.

Come to think of it, none of them beat the Wiz.

The white New England ones look like they need ironed or something. They look creased. Not sure what's really going on there.

Honestly, they look like a t-shirt I’d buy at Old Navy. Even on the spectrum of “boring MLS white change kits”, this one isn’t good.
