The media are having a field day but We have to be realistic, bar wirtz the other 2 boys are very inexperienced.
GKs impossible to predict such a position. -for LBs you got so many prospects breaking through. 17 year old Netz who is already a 1BL player is most rated prospect at that position. A lot of people think one of biggest LB prospect in europe. And that potential wise if he reaches potential should play CL and NT. Player who's been watched by all of europe, Bayern were interested for ages too. Katterbach who doesn't fit Koln's style of play is another highly rated one. you still have Mittelstadt , Henrichs (both sides), Raum (best LB of 2BL,moving to 1BL), Handwerker, Agu (brokethrough 1BL and doing well), Czyborra (XI in Serie A), Jakobs (1BL XI), J.Meier, G-L Itter, Calhanoglu (pro contract at Schalke), Etc. Not going to name all. Would say 03s looks packed with LBs, including Netz you have Herold, Gresler (pro contract at 1860 and already made debut, numerous 1BL wanted him), Brandt (yup younger bro of Julian, already trained with 1BL, has dribbling skills too), Fust (also DM), Reuther/F. Muller, Andresen (impressed a lot vs France and does well at HSV), Etc. -for RB, Semic and Vagnoman (always interest around europe) look like our biggest prospects. You still have Ludewig, Asta, Kurt, Etc. Bruckner who is 2 footed at Bayern looks promising just needs to work on physique. Klostermann, Henrichs and R.Baku still not that old. -for cbs, one sees a lot of hype over Bella-Kotchap, Mbi, Collins, Suver, Gechter. Whether accurate or not time will tell. Bella-Kotchap brokethrough 2BL at 17 and in cup vs Bayern last season took out Lewa out of game. This season helping Bochum be 1BL promotion candidates, attracting interest accross europe too. Mbi already playing 3rd Liga at 17 and made his debut for Bayern 1st team in CL playing XI, youngest Bayern XI in CL history. Flick has him regularly train with 1st and his high on him. Kimmich called him a beast and Davies also praised him highly. Collins is someone all of europe wanted at 15 and is seen as one of most promising cb prospect in Europe. Made his debut for Dortmund 1st at 16 in friendly in Summer, supposed to jump to be part of pro squad from Summer 2021-onwards. Suver had interest around Europe in him but wanted to play in home club Stuttgart were he already signed pro contract, club trust him to jump to 1st in medium term. Gechter is viewed as top talent and like Collins and Bruns plays vs older in u19, him and Collins looks to make good pairing in YNT, both make up for the other. I'm mostly ignoring 04-onwards, players one should see how they dev Torunarigha (always injured), Uduokhai, K.Schlotterbeck, Pieper, Kilian, Chabot (Serie A XI), N.Schlotterbeck, Mai, Beyer, Bauer, Siersleben, Ehlers, Jakel, Cestic/Voloder, Thiaw (has been attracting interest for past 2 seasons), Gaal/Bongard, Aidonis, Beifus/Lang, Otto/Irorere, Koudelka, Siebert, Lawrence, Dardai (played 1st XI in 1BL over weekend), Aliu, Rosenfelder, Denk, Boboy, Bruns (a 16 year old cb who made 1BL bench twice this season), Cisse, etc, didn't mention eveyone. believe players mentioned also cover all 1BL clubs too with some 2BL. I find CBs hard to gauge due to them HAVING to perform at ADULT level for years. It takes time before one can tell if they are International class or just good cbs or average. Also better if they play europe.
although Low will likely go ewww Austrian Bundesliga. but Kuntz basically said he's watching Berisha=u21. needs to move to better league in Summer.
According to a well placed Liverpool source, Jürgen Klopp would find the Germany job difficult to resist even though he is enjoying his time on Merseyside. There is a growing belief that Klopp will say yes to the chance of succeeding Joachim Löw [@TheSundayMirror] pic.twitter.com/Vbj45YXZLh— Bayern & Germany (@iMiaSanMia) February 28, 2021 Klopp is the outstanding candidate as far as the DFB is concerned & they will make their approach once Löw’s future is sealed. It’s accepted that Löw wouldn’t survive an underwhelming Euro campaign which would prompt an earlier than expected approach for Klopp
Well, not by me. I saw it earlier and wanted him as a replacement for Stefan de Vrij, who was going to leave us after the successful WC2014, but Feyenoord didnot buy him for that low transfersum (nor Ajax or PSV). It wasnot a lack of perceived qualities that did the clubs shy away, but his tendency to be too casual in matches in those days. I think he in that time relied too much on his qualities to correct slips caused by that tendency, but that didnot work out for the better every time.
In the sports show, the national coach Younes even made hope for the European Championship: “I've seen him now and then and was really impressed by his performance. Of course it also plays a role in my thoughts. " If Younes continues like this, he can count on an invitation for the March internationals against Iceland, Romania and North Macedonia for the first time in four years. Löw: “He's a player who is very good in confined spaces and at orientation. Above all, it resolves one-on-one situations, which is important in today's football. " Jogi Löw leaves the door open for a Müller return: "When you start an upheaval, you should never abandon it & go in a different direction. But the pandemic took away almost a year, so now you can really consider interrupting the upheaval if it's absolutely necessary Possible Müller, Boateng/Hummels return? Löw: "If I think we still need some additional percentage or some energy providers, from a footballing or a leadership point of view. We won't exclude anything, I can promise you that"
Joachim Loew on the return of Muller, Boateng and Hummels to the national team: It will be a difficult and important question, also for me (...) . In the end, sometime around May, I'll have to make a decision about it.
I absolutely have to deliver now " Löw is considering “special circumstances” in the EM squad - hope for Müller, Younes & Co. Joachim Löw is fighting into the European Championship year - the door to the national team remains closed for Thomas Müller, Mats Hummels and Jérôme Boateng, at least at the first international matches in 2021. In interviews with ARD and the "Kicker", the national coach did not rule out suspending the upheaval that had been initiated in the DFB selection for the European Championship and, in particular, bringing Müller back. Because the 61-year-old wants to subordinate everything to the success at the tournament in summer. Personal interests and sensitivities did not count, emphasized the national coach - and included himself. “Now everything is focused on the three games in March and the tournament. We all have to deliver. I also absolutely have to deliver now, ”says the 61-year-old Löw clearly. He leaves his own future beyond the EM open. Löw's contract runs until the 2022 World Cup. Since the 0: 6 in Spain, the 2014 world champion coach has been working on probation. As expected, Löw tackles the three World Cup qualifiers against Iceland, Romania and North Macedonia at the end of March without a personal somersault backwards. "You should never stop a break and go in a completely different direction," he emphasized on Sunday. He continues to consider the rejuvenation process he pushed with the retirement of Müller (31), Hummels (32) and Boateng (32) two years ago to be correct and without alternatives. With the appointment of 18-year-old Jamal Musiala from FC Bayern Munich, he will continue it accordingly. Löw and the DFB upheaval: "Special circumstances" possible with nominations In the first international matches of the year, he “doesn't want to interrupt the upheaval now”. Towards the European Championship, “special circumstances” could then require it. "In the end I have to decide somehow in May," said Löw, referring to the nomination for the EM squad. Then the questions for him are: “What types of players do we need? What do we need in the individual positions in order to guarantee the greatest possible success? ”An“ energy provider ”like Müller could be necessary. A return of those who had actually been sorted out would not be a major problem from Löw's point of view. Müller, Hummels and / or Boateng could be reintegrated quickly. “The players know exactly how the national team is doing.” But the decision will be difficult. “If you take such players with you, you have to give them a clear task. You also expect the players to take the lead, ”emphasized Löw. But he does not fear any hierarchical problems: "The character of Thomas Müller and Mats Hummels is that they do not oppress others." We have to play a good EM. We owe that to the fans and to ourselves. Löw accepted the severe criticism of himself after the disastrous 6-0 win against Spain in the last international match in 2020, as he said in front of the ARD camera. The skepticism of the fans about his work is "also a form of particular ambition and an additional motivation" for him. “For me that is the incentive.” After the internal debates at the end of the year, he felt the trust of the DFB top: “We are bundling all our strengths towards the EM: That is our task, our priority, our goal. We have to play a good EM. We owe that to the fans and to ourselves. " Despite the recent 0: 6 low ("We have fallen a few steps down now") and the strong EM group with France, Portugal and Hungary, Löw believes his team will have a good EM. “We always want to get as far as possible. In 2018 we failed at the World Cup, we dumped it. But that doesn't prevent us from putting our demands back on top. ”You just have to be the team with the greatest ambition and team spirit. https://www.transfermarkt.de/low-er...ng-fur-muller-younes-amp-co-/view/news/381130
Absolutely, there's a fair chance if playing well , Muller, Hummels, boetang could be considered, but I've seen a massive improvement recently in both Rudiger and Rule, so surely if them two are playing well they have to be first choice. Muller has to go we don't have anyone like him.
what's sad about this whole thing is none of trio ever retired from dfb they WANT to play for dfb. can easily give Low middle finger too....
Given Loew’s statement today this is my 23 man squad for the tournament...I do not want Hummels Neuer, Ter Stegen, Trapp Klostermann, Halstenberg, Gosens Sule, Boateng, Rudiger, Can, Ginter Kroos, Kimmich, Goretzka, Gundogan, Neuhaus Sane, Gnabry, Musiala, Werner, Havertz Muller, Reus Reus and Musiala are my jokers from the bench
Löw intends to pull a 2002: Getting embarrassed in qualification (England) to then half a year later be stumbling into the final. He can forget about this because this time it is not Saudi Arabia, Ireland, and Cameroon waiting in group
If Germany get out of the group which consists of Portugal and France then I don't see no reason why he can't go all the way.
LOL Kicker: Toni Kroos is 31 years old. Shouldn't he make room for further generational replacement? Joachim Low: I don't think about it right now. We all need to prove ourselves now, we are all measured by our success. This is true for all of us.
good thing is this 1-3rd place can get out of group 2-we won't see France/Portugal again unless both until possible SF aka avoid both for R16 and QF in knockout games. our group=Group of Death.
great work by Klose to draw 3 guys on him than through ball for Bode to score. more hilarious, Ramelow=2 yellow=red at 40th min Bode goal=50 min Klose goal=79th min lol beat Cameroon being 10 men for 50 minutes, its why commentator is all agitated when we scored.
Keep in mind that with Muller, Boateng and Musiala we will have 9 Bayern players in the squad and 8 of them in starting line up...these guys are dominating Europe for the past 12 months and international football is much weaker than club football...if Loew can stick to basics good things may happen
