I think that's the plan. A division between North and South would be nice, but they first a situation like 2013: getting to a certain number of teams and some of them in JFL to face the challenge.

It would be somewhat weird if more wealthy and capable professional J3 will be regionalized but semi-amateur JFL remains nationwide.

Suzuka Unlimited change their name again. It's getting worse. Point Getters? Why?? o_O Are they having a connection with Prof. Saotome's super robot? IYKWIM

I still think "Rampole" is the best name for this club.

J-league chairman Murai denied the divisional split 3 years ago.
    https://blog.domesoccer.jp/archives/60068285.html

He said pro/rel between J3 and JFL would start at some point. The similar thing happened when Machida got relegated from J2 to JFL in 2012.

Their new logo and emblem are incredibly awful too.

JFL will be super-interesting this year. Lots of expert players going to 4th tier.

All the applicants of 100 Year Plan club status are accepted at 25 February 2020. Apparently Vonds Ichihara from Kanto League Division 1 & Nankatsu SC from Tokyo League Division 1 also applied.

Blaublitz Akita wins J3 with 0 losses so far.
They already won J3 in 2017 but didn't have a license for J2.
First J2 ever for them next season. Congrats.

Verspah Oita won the JFL with one game to go. That's impressive. A lot of scrambles in mid-table, but I wouldn't have said that.

Let's hope one between Iwaki and Veertien will join them. I am hoping more for Veertien, honestly.

Wow, Verspah Oita was pretty unexpected. They won JFL last year, but they didn´t exactly look to me as J. League candidates.

Me too, but when they change their name back in 2014, I got a feeling they will pursue J.League membership. The question now, is Oita Prefecture has the capability to split the fans base between established Trinita and newcomer Verspah?

After won 5-1 against Kochi United, the Point Getters up to the 4th place in JFL 2021 season. But apparently they do not automatically promoted to J3 like Iwaki FC. Their website and social media did not have any post/news about promotion to J3.

Will they eventually promoted to J3?
Anyone here can explain or give an update about this?

I don't remember the rules exactly but I don't think the team placed 4th can get promoted. I didn't even remember that two teams got up from JFL, are you sure?

As far as I know clubs with J3 license can get promoted if they on the top 4. This season JFL also have set 3 schemes for the playoff if (1) there is no promoted club, (2) only 1 club get promoted and (3) there are 2 clubs get promoted.

Whilst Verspah Oita also in top 4 but they don't have J3 license. I think it's only fair if Suzuka get the promotion spot, regardless they below Verspah.
