Yea I am all for it’s the team and X player

if we play better with fast wingers and have the luxury of benching James then do it.

I don’t want us starting James or Cuadrado just because of who they are. Team is first. We don’t want the WC where it was basically Brazil trying to make Ronaldo the all time scorer and it didn’t feel like they were trying to win at all haha

    1-1 draw.

A fair result given how Leicester controlled possession, but yet another bad goal given up by Pickford.

Great goal by James, but Everton spent most of the match defending so not much else from James in this one. Mina was very good though.

That midfield without Doucoure and Allan is awful

Doucoure and Allan were missed, and while Gomes and Davies did a decent job, they don’t have the speed and ground cover of the other two. I think that’s were Everton lost control of the game, to a faster, more in sync Leicester.

Richarlison also looks so far from his top form; no speed, no dribble, little punch on his shots, and awfully disconnected from the rest of the team.

    And Pickford... ugh...

This is the James you want to see! Love him using the right, score a couple more that way and then defenders won't know what to do.

Like when AtM Falcao unleashed his left foot in Europa league and defenders were stupified.

Newcastle fouled him relentlessly today. Nasty first half especially.

This mornings game vs Newcastle reminded me of that Brazil World Cup game. Mans was getting fouled every time he got the ball. Everton needs a couple more high skilled players if they want to push for champions. Mina has been great.

Everton looking bad. Mina on the bench. James slow and not in the game. Slow both physically and mentally. Lots of mistakes. It wouldn't surprise me if they sub him early in the second half. 2-0 halftime.

LOL. James about to get subbed and he scored. Tie game. Wonder if they'll keep him on.

James subbed; he was telling the coach that he may have picked up something but is able to still move about nontheless.

That was delicious after the color commentator was taking him apart. Great goal.

Clearly was not playing at 100 % tonight, but showed there.

To be fair, I was criticizing heavy without the commentator's help. James' highlight real for this game was pretty much the goal. Good luck finding much else.

Calvert-Lewin saved the point for Everton. A top 4 finish is still in reach.

Yeah, he was very sloppy in possession. Uncharacteristically.

Shocked they got that last minute equalizer. Important point.

I really hope he's not out for another month...

Hope James is ok. I was wrong about Olsen being better, gave up two bad ones and looked really slow. They both suck.

Pretty weak showing by James in the first half.
Man U had a good amount of pressure for the first half that Everotn couldn't decipher
I think that James playing up front a little more made a difference and the goal was crucial.

Good point by Everton who shows a bipolar game play at times. They ceratainly can play well against anyone and should aim for top spots and an international tournament.

Apparently was playing with a knock and gutted out some minutes into second half to try and help them get back in the game according to Ancelloti in the post game.

Impressive how much faith Ancelloti has in him that he stuck with him after half time given how clearly James was struggling and then the patience after Doucoure's goal - which James repaid.

    Unfortunately, it's his calf... AGAIN.
