Edin Džeko scored 7 goals on the year and is the teams second leading scorer.

He is also tied for 7th in the league in total goals. That's not bad.

With his knee problems it would probably be better for him to try to transition more into a striker role. He definitely has the technical ability, whether Roma has the patience for him to learn the position though is another story.
Yeah there’s a lot of hype. Very fast and an excellent crosser. Also pretty tall for a full back. He’s only had one season at a pro-level though, so still pretty raw.

Still expecting Karsdrop to be our starter next season.

We create the most quality chances in the league statistically speaking (along with Inter). You’re right that he has a respectable goal tally but he should have double his amount of goals

Check out the highlights of a guy called Cristo later. Just scored 2 goals in a min and the 2nd one was class. Udinese own him, came up through Real Madrid as well.

So basically Fonseca is a sorcerer.

Borja’s numbers in his first 900 minutes at Roma:

    - 8 goals.
    - 3 assists.
    - 1 penalty won.

The most impressive part is that he managed to do that while wasting 13 big chances! It means with better finishing he could have scored 15 goals already.

That’s why it’s hard for me to put all the blame on Fonseca.

There’s a few pretty good players, but for the most part, this squad is just not very good. Two summers from now, I will be shocked if half of this team is still here.

Fcuk him. Disgraceful behavior since he’s been here.

or it means in a year from now we'll all be complaining about his finishing. ;)

While earning a fraction of the salary and actually sometimes contributing to pressing from the front.

I get the feeling selling Dzeko is going to be very difficult but hopefully I'm wrong.

Trying to look at the bright side maybe Borja starting to play well is just the kick in the ass Dzeko needs. He still can play if he tries and maybe somebody like Borja pushing him can keep him motivated.

His very high salary should be sufficient motivation for him. If he isn't motivated to succeed he should leave.

Hopefully he turns out to be a real player. I agree, Bradley wasn't bad at Roma but he regressed terribly after he left.
