Poor guy gets played like a ********ing idiot being asked to return and then not being played and looking to be loaned again, I'd be pissed if I was him.

Best thing for the club would be to get Zidane to use the kid more and not loan him out. Work things out, we need some new ideas in the lineup. Don’t send him away, just PLAY him!

This would be what a good leader (Florentino) is supposed to do. Get them to see a different perspective and work together.

I hope this is true, it's the most sensible decision.

Don’t see the point unless he’s playing regularly which he should be.

The coach needs things forced upon him now, similar to how Florentino worked with other coaches; being told who to play etc.

If the club decides that he doesn't leave then i'm sure they're going to have a chat with Zidane.

Flo should step in and kick out Isco this transfer window. Odegaard is his boy so protect the time and investment made on him since 2015.

It's still up to the manager to use him effectively/consistently. If the player wants to leave to get more playing time and feels it can't be guaranteed given the first half of the season, then how do we ensure that it doesn't become a distraction. We're struggling massively with creativity when we have it in spades on the bench and the coach just doesn't seem to want to integrate him properly. Meanwhile Isco plays a full 90 into extra time with a guest appearance from Asensio. Zidane has to be willing to adapt both for his sake and that of the club.

This is confusing because I thought when a player asks to go you have no other choice or form of action but to sell or loan them?

Lol anyways, what I hope is happening is a meeting of the midns where someone has to balls to tell Zidane and Florentino their protected players have got to go.

We shouldn't even want them around to be an option because Zidane will fall into using them.

The last time Florentino tried to force Zidane to do anything (play Bale) he outright resigned. Would Florentino risk it?

ZZ played Bale plenty until January last season. He started vs Sevilla, Atlético, Barca etc. I don't think it's a big deal if Flo tells ZZ to consider Odegaard ahead of Isco and that Isco is on the market as a "club decision".

The issue is Florentino is addicted to these deadweights not differently than Zidane.

    That is true

If it was up to Flo, James (not that he is a deadweight but he was since he didn't play) and Bale (definitely deadweight) would still be here.

Could be that Flo is going to sit both down in order to work out whatever differences there might be, at least that’s what I’m hoping for.

That’s what I’m hoping for as well, we’ll hear more tomorrow I’m sure.

Which is why the clubs loads it's bank accounts with debt to buy various young players that Zidane ignores until they leave in favour of these "deadweights".

We're simply buying players and forcing our coach to ignore them. Masochism at it's finest.

Why let the kid go? We’ve already let Hakimi, Reguilon, James and Jovic go. Now Martin should go? No, it’s time for Zidane to go.

With Odegaard gone. Vinicious is next on the list. Perez needs to just tell Zidane to **** off. He’s pissing away our talent and his decision making as a manager is embarassing.

It doesn't help that Zidane's attitude about lineups is "My way or i leave".

I'm quite surprised at Zidane, some of the players he seems to be willing to die for don't give him a lot in return.

The thing is Zidane at least has shown some flexibility.

What we're witnessing now doesn't even kind of make sense. Again I get Marcelo playing, you're forced to play him because he is the backup LB. He shouldn't even be here.

What I don't get is Isco ever seeing the field and Odegaard not getting minutes but that is a small issue.

Our roster is absolutely chaotic. Odrizola is an incosistent injury note and Lucas who had some good months is horrible now. Carvajal is always injured so we are always suffering. Kroos and Casemiro has battled for form all season. Only Modric and Benzema have reached a great form.

We need a huge roster turnover, but I have been saying this for years. If Zidane finds a way to turn things around we will again here stories about finances and why we can't bring in anybody or will we finally stop leaving managers flailing and fully get behind them besides one summer in 6 years?

If the team would defend the way YS defends Zidane we'd have conceded 0 goals all season.

‘You are forced to play Marcelo’, yeah let’s not forget it was ZZ decision to send away Reguillon and keep Marcelo. It was ZZ decision to play Marcelo in stead of Miguel, cantera LB. it was ZZ decision to play Isco in stead of Odegaard/Brahim Diaz it was his decision to keep Lucas V and Asensio...His decision giving Lucas V 19 games starter spot, ignoring Vinicius completely... Let’s not forget we got ZZ A BACK UP STRIKER, but he didn’t care, he wants Benz only. There are more negatives than positives, we aren’t even talking about our tactics yet, which are below amateur level like we saw yesterday.

Reading some ppls post makes you wonder who the coach is Perez or ZZ.

But didn't you know it was Perez who told ZZ to alienate these younger players?

Never said that wasn't his decision. In fact I think he let Marcelo decide and backed him.

I have been the person beating the drum about Zidane giving that kid a chance. So again, nothing I haven't stated and Zidane painted himself in this corner with Marcelo.

Lol reading the posts of this forum you would think Zidane were the club President and he was a terrible cancer to the club like Luxemburgo or Benitez.

Apparently, Zidane is a master wizard that made James and Bale stay when he wanted them gone as well. The same Isco who was frozen out for months and rumored to be swapping for Pogba , complains publicly and he reappears as an option. Nothing odd about that either.

Zidane holds on to some of these guys but not all of them. While the club refuses to let them go and refuses to replace them so they can get nice and comfortable.

    Hey man

I actually respect @YOUNGSTARS87 for it like I respect @Drouchk for his faith in Hazard.

It's easy to be a fairweather fan nowadays and these guys are standing for what they believe in. I wish both of them to be right about their beliefs because Madrid benefits from that.

Also, @YOUNGSTARS87 is defending a guy that has led us to 3 CLs and 2 Liga titles so kind of hard to judge him for it. Zidane as frustrating as he is, has a high credit score with us as a manager.

Now I just wish people would have given me the same credit for James lol. I tried saying all along there is a favoritism issue and people thought I was a Colombian homer :ROFLMAO:
