This could be a difficult game for Chelsea today. Fulham's position on the table doesn't do them justice.

Very likely to be a 1-1 result today, or perhaps Fulham might steal it with 2-1.

Chelsea is coming off significant rest. Fulham played two days ago.

That just means Chelsea is rusty, and Fulham is sharp.

I think this is like the Chelsea Arsenal game in reverse. Everyone is expecting a Fulham result given their against Spurs, but I bet we see Chelsea run out with a 3-0 win.

RLC is ineligible so that hurts Fulham.

Oh, the irony of you signing up to post this in a thread devoted to CP. Very few here care about or respect Chelsea and their superficial history. Most never wanted him to transfer there, especially once they handed their coaching job to an undeserving novice. And I bet most would be happy if he went elsewhere while you and your brethren alternate wanking to Mason Mount, Chilwell, CHO and Lampard.

pulisic at his peak is a lock starter for chelsea and frankly nearly every club in the world so to me that means he’s a lock starter for chelsea because they need him in form and you don’t get into form on the bench

OTT much? That was harsh and really uncalled for. A top side should not have many players starting every game in a compressed schedule and having to earn your spot every week is not a bad thing.

Pulisic starts. It looks like the front 4 will be him, Giroud, Mount, and Ziyech, with Werner and Havertz on the bench.

Pulisic starts, CHO does not. I was wrong, and will happily eat crow. All the noise prior to match seemed to trend towards a CHO start, but I misjudged Lampard’s mindset.

Important to remember that clubs don't release lineups until an hour before the match. All the predicted lineups you see prior to that are just speculation typically based on the same information everyone else on here following the clubs already have.

He cares more about preserving his tenuous hold on his job than giving into British fanboy sentimentality. Even more telling of this change of approach is his willingness to sit the effete Werner and Havertz, despite pushing for their transfers.

CFC Twitter is already blowing up about the line-up - many complaining that CHO is not starting and CP should be benched.
I hope Christian kills it today. C’mon son, drop a hat trick!

If there's one thing Lampard has been consistent thus far, is that he just simply does not rate CHO. And neither do I, and many outside of the core/loyal CFC supporters.

Imagine getting this worked up and defensive about someone you don't even know. LOL. Lampard, Mount and CHO have received plenty of criticism when they deserved it.

Me too. It is their best front 3 IMO... although I am still wanting to see CP tried out as an ACM. But I am geeked for this one. Fulham and AR have been playing very well lately. Doesn't seem like a cake-walk like it did on the schedule to start the season.

    Pulisic will score today.

Giroud is gonna bang it in and finally give Pulisic the assist.

CHO has barely seen the field. For all the complaining here about Pulisic, CHO has been treated much more unfairly.

I think he rates him... just behind CP and Ziyech. The one thing CHO does pretty well is serving crosses into the box but Ziyech is worlds better at that and brings more to the table. Right now, CHO is a Cup Starter, EPL sub w/ an occasional league start here or there. And I think that is the rating he deserves. One has to ignore the English media hype WRT a young English attacker. For the life of me I don't understand why so many people on this forum think that he has been in fantastic form.?.? He scored a sitter against Man City on a play where CP and Mount deserve more credit and he played well against a lower tier team in a cup game.

Same for me...There was a huge campaign to shame Frank into dropping CP for CHO....much respect to him for not making this decision based on a few meaningless goal CHO scored...CP has been the better player despite the lack of stats.

Man, some of you guys need to take a chill pill. Getting all worked up before the lineup was announced, thinking CP wouldn't start, thinking there's an anti-American conspiracy, worrying about what people on twitter say, etc...

What noise/shame? Frank does not read fan chatboards. He even deleted his twitter account.
