You're here claiming the club sold Ronaldo to keep Bale, but Ronaldo actively pursued an exit. He dumped the club and left. Cool.

 

Ok, and what does that have to do with Ronaldo wanting to leave Real Madrid?

 

Ronaldo wanted to leave Real Madrid for half a season.

The club didn't sell him, didn't tell him to leave.

Ronaldo chose to leave.

That's all there is to it.

You're tying it into the Bale thing to sort of create some story when the two things are unrelated.

Juventus comes along with 100 mil. and Florentino loads Bale in a cannon. The China deal was supposed to be for free, or pretty much close to. So basically what Tottenham gave us a year later.

"Ronaldo is not a slave!"

Back when Real Madrid wanted Ronaldo.

"Force Ronaldo to stay!"

When Real Madrid fans want to keep a wantaway Ronaldo.

That's true, but what does that have to do with Ronaldo requesting to leave?

 

Did both players bring in a 100 mil Euro offer?

Because if a team brings in 100 mil. tomorrow we're probably selling any player on the roster.

The summer that Mourinho approached Bale he was caugh on camera telling him "i want you, but you have to want it too", which would suggest that Bale didn't want to leave Madrid so, ok.
