That is a top notch visual account of the events. NY Times is excellent at putting together those. VISUAL INVESTIGATIONS How a Presidential Rally Turned Into a Capitol Rampage https://nyti.ms/3bvNjtb
Reports indicate that they were there to capture or assassinate members of congress... https://www.cnn.com/2021/01/15/politics/capitol-capture-assassinate-elected-officials/index.html The more I learn, it’s more alarmed I get at the precision and execution. Capture/Kill is commonly used in military planning against human networks. If I’m planning an operation like what we saw on January 6, taking a military approach is probably the most efficient and effective way. Breaching operations Key fundamentals: Mass synchronization Elements: Breach Assault Command and control Objectives can be either terrain oriented or force oriented. Deny, Disrupt, Destroy, reduce Human networks: Capture, kill, isolate, support Targeting Effects: “The cumulative results of actions taken to attack targets and target systems by lethal and nonlethal means. See also target; targeting.” Obviously what I’m sharing above isn’t all inclusive, but it should demonstrate how military applications have been employed here in multiple capacities. We have a veteran problem here....
Breaking News: The FBI is investigating 37 people in the killing of Brian Sicknick, a Capitol Police officer who was struck with a fire extinguisher during the rampage. He died in the hospital undergoing treatment for his injuries. https://t.co/RAbt2O6Vh5— The New York Times (@nytimes) January 15, 2021
I like those pre-match circle jerks because usually the national anthem alone isn't enough time for me to grab a beer (damn lines!).
Big fan of Russell Honore. He will tell it like it is. Madam Speaker just appointed ret Major General Russell Honore to conduct the investigation to get to the bottom of what occurred 1/6/3021. A better choice could not have been made...— Robert A. Stansbury (@BetoMetroDos) January 15, 2021
Think he's learned now what a 'tactical retreat' is... video of QAnon Shaman being asked how he got out of the Senate chambers after the storming of the Capitol"the cops walked out with me"- they just let you go?"yeah"originally uploaded to Parler: pic.twitter.com/eKrg1vlWIL— Matt Binder (@MattBinder) January 13, 2021
Dolphins can be aggressive. Cardinals - as most birds - I would think are territorial. Saints? Well, I'm sure if we examine those canonized by the Catholic Church, we might find some who were aggressive as well. It does seem like an odd name for an NFL team, though.
Honest question: can you not file a motion to move to another federal district? better put...has a motion to move to a different district ever been filed and approved?
Been waiting for this one NEW: Feds charge Jenna Ryan, the real estate broker from Frisco, Texas, who flew on a private jet to storm the Capitol. 1. yes, but getting it moved is another matter entirely - https://www.law.cornell.edu/rules/frcrmp/rule_21 2. I don't know
It is a multipronged effort needed. Legally 1 - The actors must be prosecuted to the maximum. Even if there is no conviction, that will show that the courts are not ********ing around. 2 - When convicted, they must be sentenced to the maximum jail time. No executions. That is a road not to go down. 3 - Members of congress who gave any kind of aid/support need to be prosecuted. 4 - Very publically go after White supremacists groups as terrorists. Politically 5 - Laws need to be passed regarding safety of government officials, at least federally. I don't trust individual states to do this. 6 - A constant drumbeat of speeches about how political violence is unacceptable. 7 - Bills passed to address issues regarding police reform. Other ways 7 - Department of Ed should tie state funding to what textbooks are used in classrooms. 7a - Increase educational funding, not just to urban areas, but also to rural areas. 8 - HUD should make a sustained effort at developing mix-income housing in wealthier neighborhoods. 9 - Do not do reconciliation (see Russia, Japan (racism), US when reconstruction was halted, West Germany v. East Germany). Overall, there need to be consequences for the adults. But for the younger generations, this needs to be taught out. A great example of this is how Africa worked with the child soldiers. Also, there should be something done about gerrymandering. Not sure what, but it should be looked at.
One quick and easy thing for the Armed Forces....Stop broadcasting Fox News 24/7 on bases and installations.
For those of us on the Democratic side, I think they can be split into three groups: 1 - Those who have accepted that a Civil War is on the horizon; 2 - Those who believe a civil war is possible, but not yet accepted it; 3 - Those who don't believe a civil war is possible. Personally, this does not surprise me at all. I fully believe had that one officer not led people away from the Senate chambers, we would be talking about dead people. Or at the least, severely injured/beaten. What I saw on Jan 6 was the White supremacist version of what I saw during the Rodney King riots - absolute rage. The fuel provided was different, but the rage (of many) allowed for damage to be severe, and deaths to occur along the way. The difference, here, is that this was organized to some lesser or greater degree.
No, he was referring to moving any of the terrorists' trials to another federal court because DC is close to 100% Democratic.
I did the same, but adding DuckDuckGo. All three brought up very similar results. And keep in mind, I had no idea what you were talking about, would never have searched it, so had no history (never got into Twin Peaks). Is it possible that you have searched that before? If so, and you use Google, that would explain why they gave such good search results.
