Man, those Antifa infiltrators are really going to extremes in order to look like Trumpists and make all those patriotic insurrectionists look bad. Of course the guy used to be a cop. Of course.
2 notes. 1. The Dems started planning impeachment while hiding under desks and whatnot. Ted Lieu sent a text to Dem Judiciary members that they had to get started and even wrote a draft of the articles of impeachment. 2. The inauguration rehearsal scheduled for Sunday has been postponed to Monday due to security concerns. Trump is putting together a big goodbye event/gathering. If Antifa was really dangerous, that would be the ultimate target rich environment.
Yes, watch to the end. These are the heroes who Trump and his posse but in harms way. https://t.co/UxvuOZH5P2— Barbara Comstock (@BarbaraComstock) January 15, 2021 Worth watching to the end.
The armed services pay a shit-ton of money to advertise during the Super Bowl. Amazing that the most lucrative TV event in America gets so much taxpayer money, when you think about it.
How many times have I been frustrated when looking for something specific on google. Even with names and dates. Then having to wade through pages of paid items and still not finding what I asked for.
Yeah, they’re big on social media and current tv and who is who on the bachelor. Prolly because that where most of their questions are targeted. But then I’m not saying the Bing is any better.
Must read article. It is simply frightening, we are in serious trouble. Among the InsurrectionistsThe Capitol was breached by Trump supporters who had been declaring, at rally after rally, that they would go to violent lengths to keep the President in power. A chronicle of an attack foretold. https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2021/01/25/among-the-insurrectionists
That stupid cow was a huge trump supporter until she got swept away in the blue wave of 2018. She tried to distance herself, but voted his way pretty much every time.
What about these guys? Their slogan is, "if you have a job, you have a lawyer." https://www.youhavealawyer.com/?utm...kEr_mqIzPRdVPtlJblvky94PGrGhyzCRoCt5UQAvD_BwE
I’m very confused. 1. Can’t stop watching at the spiderweb tattoo on his neck. I’m sure that a lot of people among the crowd have similar marks. 2. He felt threatened and considered using deadly force but he had time to think about it? Imagine if rioters were a shade darker. 3. So he’s thanking some of the insurrectionists for seeing him as a fellow? Imagine if he was a shade darker... 4. Are we sure that he told the rioters about his family and not something else?
We need a program to de-radicalize these people starting while they are in prison. Our chance of pulling this off is zero since we can prepare regular criminals for the job market.
My Zune HD with personalized message and DC United logo is better than any rotten apple. Yes, I cashed in bing rewards for Christmas gifts I sent people. I see the Lincoln Project is still stealing tweets. They could have at least gone to the WUSA9 website and used a better video.
I am, of course, an America-hating pacifist liberal, so take the following with a grain of salt, comrade, but while the Super Bowl is certainly among the more over-the-top displays of military adoration, it's certainly the case that a more modest embrace of the military is often on display at US sporting events. Yeah, there's the whole national anthem thing, and the way not paying public deference to the flag is deemed unpatriotic and an attack on our military by some. But also, for example, at Crew games, there's always a "Hometown Hero" pre-game announcement, where a local resident who's served in the military comes out, receives a standing ovation, some Crew merchandise, runs over to the Nordecke, which cheers him/her, yadayadayada. It's fine. I have no problem with it. I mean, even if most of these people just signed up to serve in our all-volunteer military and didn't come anywhere near combat, managed logistics, or whatever. That's cool. Thank you for your service. But I did write to the Crew once (no response) saying, you know, there are a lot of true "heroes" in Columbus who don't wear camo. Especially post-COVID, I would love to see local healthcare providers, nurses who worked their asses off and risked their lives, months after month, I'd like to see those people get some recognition. I know a guy who for many years has coached youth soccer and been a mentor to untold number of kids; the kids who play for him adore him, he teaches them leadership skills, how to coach. What about someone like that? Or people who help the elderly or homeless? Teachers who go far above and beyond what's included in their job description to help their kids get a leg up in life? Hell, even firefighters or police who do something truly heroic? I'm not holding my breath waiting for the program to expand. First off, it's hard to really identify people who'd qualify as "hometown heroes." The club would have to sink real time, thought and effort into such a program. But second, I assume some would see it as a slight against the military in some way.
Just gets worse as time goes by... Federal prosecutors offered the most chilling description yet of rioters who seized the Capitol last week, writing in a new court filing that the intention was "to capture and assassinate elected officials." https://t.co/grGlnjwPOb pic.twitter.com/KXhHI2MjQp— CNN (@CNN) January 15, 2021
It was there, but post-9/11 it became more pronounced. Every US sports league turned up the jingoism to 11 for a while.
Ouch.......That must hurt. It may have flown over her head though....I like SP Maloney. He will be a good DCCC chairman. Um, I’ve never said your name in public, @RepBoebert. Never. Not once. (If you’re going to be a gun nut, you probably shouldn’t go off half cocked.) I’ll tweet the transcript so you can see...but that might be like “a fact”, so might not help you. https://t.co/a0weTQvIp0— Sean Patrick Maloney (@RepSeanMaloney) January 15, 2021 PS. She apologized. A thousand apologies @RepSeanMaloney. I'm glad you clarified you were not making any remarks about me whatsoever. Please clarify that with the people making death threats and also MSNBC so they can set the record straight. https://t.co/DS5rxcNfyq— Rep. Lauren Boebert (@RepBoebert) January 15, 2021
I'm listening to Maddow and she had a segment on the former governor of Michigan that is getting indicted on involuntary manslaughter and derelict of duty: https://www.pbs.org/wgbh/frontline/...ficials-including-ex-gov-rick-snyder-charged/ The surprising part is how this ties with the current situation. Basically Snyder decided that democracy was not for black people and passed a law allowing him to remove democratically elected mayors and appoint emergency managers. https://www.nytimes.com/2016/01/23/us/anger-in-michigan-over-appointing-emergency-managers.html How that ties to this election and insurrection? Well, what happened to the current governor was apparently a test run for what happened last week on DC and in general in this election: Angry white people thinks that democracy is not for black people, so their votes are illegal. If white people don't win, they claim foul, get angry and attack the people that sides with the cheaters: https://www.metrotimes.com/news-hit...milar-to-what-happened-in-lansing-this-spring The obvious parallels between what happened in Lansing months ago and what happened in D.C. raise serious questions about why the Capitol Police were so seemingly unprepared. A video from Wednesday showing the Capitol Police opening a gate to allow the rioters to get closer to the building suggests complicity, if not an outright inside job. The contrasts between what happened in D.C. and what happened in Michigan are also illuminating. At the Republican National Convention, Trump spent little time talking about the coronavirus pandemic and much time talking about Black Lives Matter protesters and so-called Antifa protesters, claiming to be the "law and order" president and painting an image of a country besieged by angry leftist rioters. That Trump's own supporters are what he purported Black Lives Matter and Antifa to be is an ugly truth that will have to be reckoned with. Plus, the fact that Detroit's police brutality protest group Detroit Will Breathe was teargassed for breaking curfews while the Trump supporters were handled with kid gloves after breaking a curfew ordered by D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser is something that will also have to be reckoned with. There's also a more physical link between the Lansing and D.C. mobs. Busloads of Michiganders organized by Michigan Republican activist Meshawn Maddock made the trek to D.C. for Trump's rally to "Save America." which were organized by Michigan Republican activist Meshawn Maddock. Alarmingly, Maddock is poised to become the state co-chair of the Michigan Republican Party.
