I think that's always been Mourinho's modus operandi. We, on the other hand, seem just to have forgotten how to score goals. I look at Wijnaldum's first chance against Villa as an example of our poor form in front of goal and that has been replicated against Newcastle, Southampton, WBA, Fulham and Brighton off the top of my head.
Well, we better remember how to score before the weekend! Clattenberg has come out saying that LFC players dive just as much as ManU players...which is his attempt to wipe the slate clean...so, an LFC player will likely get a yellow for "simulation" while ManU "earns" a more "legitimate" penalty... Expect VAR to play a key role in this one...
SHOCKING NEWS!!!!!!! Jose showed us how to win penalties! https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...-boss-Jose-Mourinho-showed-win-penalties.html Not.
Wolves have really struggled this season - 1) losing Jota was huge regardless of their claims, 2) losing Jiminez too (through injury)
3rd place for us after LC's win today. if we win tomorrow we go back on top of course. if we don't win, we'll, at best, sit 4th - after City beat Palace. or could even be 5th if we lose and Spurs beat SU by >3 goals. christ the table is tight. no more room for errors.
Messi finally received a red card - after 753 games in a Barcelona uniform: https://www.espn.com/soccer/barcelon...celona-matches
6' Leicester 1 Chelski 0 Pregame it was reported that it's not if but when that Lampard will be fired.
It is great to see so many teams flip-flopping at the top...Much more nerve wracking than being 20 pts ahead and hoping for some "record"... I hope it goes to the wire - and of course, I hope LFC ends up on top...but it brings the "sport" back to the sport... Come you REDS - find the net!
Schalke lost the last two games. Despite the young Ami striker scoring again today. 7 points after half the season. No team ever stayed up with less than 9 points at this point of the season
We just saw a very unfair goal scored by City as the City player was allowed to come from an offside position nick the ball from Mings as he's tried to control it. There's gonna be loads of discussion on this one.
Var draws line after line after line to decide arm pit offside calls, but doesn't deal with a guy running into the stadium from the stands & interfering with play. And the dick head Moss sent off Dean Smith for complaining who had every right to be aggrieved. City are on Top.Yikes.
Top four will be a hell of a fight for us at this rate. Really hope we can get some reinforcements in
