Thiago has to start as does only one of Gini or Henderson. That said - already been reading articles that seem to say because of uniteds counterattacking style - we want to have a midfield that will do the defensive duties too.
Lack of goals is the biggest problem though. Man U will likely be 3 points ahead by the time we meet and Solskjaer could quite easily set up for a 0-0.
Manchester United trio Paul Pogba, Victor Lindelof and Luke Shaw are doubts for upcoming clashes against Burnley and Liverpool.
I look for Thiago, Henderson and Gini as the midfield three. Fab and either Phillips or Rhys Williams at center back, assuming Matip isn't back and I'm pretty sure he won't be.
Dunno if this is accurate but -- Liverpool have lost 42.9 percent of their games after a break of between eight and 11 days.
Should be all the motivation we need to slap them around on Sunday. These damn "breaks" make me nervous though...
OK, enough of this quaking in our boots at the at the prospects of the skanks' burgling Anfield and leaving with all three points. Play our game and, importantly, score our chances, and we should be fine. But that means that everyone raises their game. And Klopp also needs to be proactive-- if it ain't working, there is no need to wait until only 10 minutes are left to try and change it. Go redmen!
We need to punch them in the mouth from the opening whistle. Let them know they're playing the champions and they aren't on our level.
huge breaking news ... Matip and Keita may not in fact be fit for the game. wow. https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/spo...verpool-injuries-joel-matip-breaking-19618403
