Cotton was literally calling for Trump to institute martial law and have the military re-run the election at Trump's direction, just last month. If Democrats can't successfully hang that yoke around his neck for the rest of his days, this country is in huge trouble.

100%. That is a desperate move from Mitch to save himself and the party from Trump and the most rabid trumpeters. Having said that, the stain will not go away and the Dems must make sure they pay the price for it. All the members of the Seditious caucus must be carry the events of last week around their neck for the rest of their life.
I trust Nancy as well though on this. She has pushed for impeachment and will force them to walk the plank tomorrow. That vote will be brutal for the GOP.

There's a fscking 9/11 in excess deaths happening every single goddamned day in this country, in no small part attributable to our worthless president, and THAT'S NOT THE TOP STORY. It's not even the top story of damage done by that ********er.

I wish I could remember who it was, back in November of 2016, who scolded people here for their reactions to the election loss, saying that while it sucked, it wasn't really *that* bad because anything bad that Trump did could easily be undone after he left office. ******** them.

 

As recently as yesterday, the official spokesperson of the RNC was giving interviews to news organizations, saying that the real insurrection was when the election was stolen from Trump.
