So should the incoming administration charge them under the Statues & Monuments Act? Then again Trump may just pardon the bunch.
I wonder if they can somehow figure out who people are and arrest them after the inauguration? You'd arrest far fewer but at least they would not be automatically pardoned.
He’s just told them he loves them. What was done to him and them is a travesty. But to go home in peace.
Disgraceful scenes in U.S. Congress. The United States stands for democracy around the world and it is now vital that there should be a peaceful and orderly transfer of power.— Boris Johnson (@BorisJohnson) January 6, 2021
Democrats now control the senate, and the house. Schumer replaces the Turtle. Biden has a better chance now to get things done.
The Boris/Trump comparison was superficially correct, but the gap in quality between the two is a chasm. The Brits don't realize how wonderful their politicians are, even the worst of them, compared to what we put up with.
BoJos own party stood up to him when needed. The GOP are a bunch of ********ing cowards. They could have removed Trump a year ago.

The only elected national Republicans who can feel even slightly content with who they are as people are Justin Amash and Mitt Romney. Everyone else should lock themselves in a room and do penance for the rest of their lives.
This is a bit scary. Good thing the guy recording was not interested in hurting the officer. Even though the officer is Black. Here’s the scary moment when protesters initially got into the building from the first floor and made their way outside Senate chamber. pic.twitter.com/CfVIBsgywK— Igor Bobic (@igorbobic) January 6, 2021
Not all the police were running away scared or trying to stop the insurgents. Capitol Police member caught on camera taking selfies with insurrectionists January 06, 2021 Sarah K. Burris President Donald Trump's supporters seized the U.S. Capitol, stealing shields and batons and began breaking the windows and began shooting into the House chamber while scared U.S. Representatives and Senators hid under their chairs, some with gas masks on. Meanwhile, at least one Capitol Police officer was taking selfies with those breaking into the building.
Cool. They just let 'em in. Cool. Wouldn't want any of those "protestors" getting hurt... 1346909463660396550 is not a valid tweet id
They're taking selfies and putting them on social media. Shouldn't be too damned hard if Bidens DOJ wants to look back and not Obama their way away from it

Thinking about all the times I’ve seen Capitol police forcibly arrest disabled activists with ADAPT and feeling supremely jokerfied https://t.co/GOolEapCuD— rebekah (@rebekahentralgo) January 6, 2021
