Nerve wrecking, but a hard fought win in the end so bravo to all the players. Pau should keep the starting position.
All things considered, a very good result and performance in awful conditions. I've seen Roma play like absolute clowns in these conditions in the past, not so today. Sampdoria didnt ask enough questions of our defense throughout, only appyling some consistent pressure at the end. Nonetheless they all had excellent games back there. There wasnt one bad performance out there today imo.
Hard fought victory. Karsdorp and Villar easily the best players on the park - great performances, Pellegrini useless again. Cristante can leave
Ah c'mon now, cut the kid some slack. He has barely seen any game time in months and it wasnt exactly the easiest of conditions to come on in.
For us, that was a big victory. Pelleshit was absolute shit as usual. What exactly our coach sees in him, remains a mystery.
Another year, another simpleton contribution from Lord Knob-end. Loser mentality being something you'd know all about I'm sure. Albeit blissfully unaware no doubt. I'm not in the business of making excuses for our players when they play like complete wankers. Which is not what was happening here with my (very slight) defense of Perez.....but of course you're too dumb to realise any of that.
No.... You are mixing me up with the French or American navy... Or yourself the Big Bad Loser. A professional player has the duty to be physically fit. Perez is a shit player, no mistake about it. Been overweight and looking generally that you don't give a shit, cannot be accepted for any proffesion. Maybe at your work place this general practice, so you don't see the difference. I think however: this has something to do with your love for Mongo and Pallotta. I think absolutely everything and i mean everything these nob-heads have done, you defend with a cult-like obsession. I think if Perez was 100st you would still defend it : " Perez cannt' du enythin bout is weigt...... iss' ad a harrd tim.... I ruv u Perez, I am Pallotta ruver..." In your own words.
On a day of several good performances - notably Pellegrini, Mancini and Ibanez - Karsdorp was probably the best. We should hope his recovery from loanee to regular starter and making major contributions can be sustained. Dzeko struggled for the first hour; I'm beginning to wonder whether his bout of coronavirus has affected him longer-term because some of his performances lately have been below par, even though he has scored some goals.
What an embarrassing post. I'll refrain from any further conversational engagement with you now I think, for two reasons. Firstly, I feel myself getting stupider and secondly, I have genuine concerns for your mental state. Take care of yourself Nelly.
“In the second half, with the rain pouring down and the pitch deteriorating, we had to up our concentration, because when you push and push for a goal and don’t score, you risk making that one mistake that can compromise the match." #ASRoma #RomaSamp https://t.co/QNo9mrMLCO— AS Roma English (@ASRomaEN) January 4, 2021 Mancini has been fantastic lately, Ibanez is receiving all the attention but Mancini has quietly improved his game.
Its not wonder Ibanez is always getting knocks every game with the places he puts himself. Head and limbs everywhere, climbing over players almost impatience for the ball to come to him. He will calm with age but for now we will have to get used to the touch of madness.
Yes, he's constantly in the wars and his judgement will improve with experience, but I hope he doesn't lose his ultra-competitive nature: he's fearless.
