I wouldn’t worry, he’s still very young, form is bound to be up and down but we all know the talent he has. It’s the same with all these young kids tbh.

Rumours atleti are looking at amn as a replacement for trippier. Would be a good move for him but I can't see him leaving arsenal

One of his close friends died recently, which likely has had a big impact on him.

Harvey Barnes is having a very good season. Let's hope he can keep it up. 7 goals in 20 games this season

Harvey is so far down the pecking order he's not worth considering without injuries

Says alot about the quality of our attacking players when a player like that can't get a look in

Imagine how many goals and assists he’d be getting if he played for Liverpool or ManU !!

The guy is a genius.. week after week he’s putting in these MOM performances

We should build the damn team around him for the next 5 or 6 years

The build up and pass for Watkins when he hit the post was fantastic - the best bit of the match, but I thought he was a notch below his recent performances, especially in the first half where he was a bit ball greedy at times and his passes were slightly off.
In the second half, playing on the left on the counter, he was brilliant.
Watkins also had a great game, and on anohter day would have had a hat trick. Will be interesting to see if he develops into a genuine option for England.
Mings had a nightmare. Struggled whenever anyone ran at him. That's a worry if he's in the squad.

Those odd times when you see Jack Grealish just hold on to the ball a second to long is because the players around him aren’t up to his level ..

Just look how he was instantly on Harry Kane’s wavelength when they play for England ..

Oddly enough you see similar things happening today with Messi .. sometimes he looks out of sorts but it’s because he’s thinking a second or two faster than those around him ... cough Braithwaite ..

It wasn't a second too long, there were better placed players and he went down a blind alley. 32 seconds on the above clip - the ball on is into the middle and Traore has a clear shot, but Grealish tries to take it on himself when there's players blocking that route.
Several occassions he tried to dribble when there was an easy layback to a free fulback to cross. In the second half he was much more decisive with his play

I just see that they’re simply not always on his wavelength... as I said watch Barcelona and players like Braithwaite somehow make Messi look bad on occasion

Have you actually watched the part of the clip I referenced? That is nothing to do with "wavelength". Traore is moving into a free position in the centre of the box..
A full back moving into the supporting position to deliver a cross is exactly what you expect from them.
Enough of this Grealish hagiography where he can seemingly do no wrong and any observations that he may not be perfect every game are challenged.

Grealish dragging Villa back into this game and they look up for it now .

El Ghazi scored is 5th goal in 5 games and as I recall it was Grealish who generously gave him the penalty chance to score the first of those goals .

Mount having another decent game and I wouldn’t mind having Watkins on as understudy to Kane

Grealish has been mostly anonymous, aside from the through-ball he played to Pulisic in the first half.

I'm pretty sure we're at the stage where St Jack could crap himself on the pitch and it would be hailed as a genius tactical move by some people.

Just for some context, he has one goal and one assist in his last seven games.

So now we're giving him credit for not being Villa's penalty taker?

It was Bamford the other week, now Watkins. There's more to getting in the England side than having a good few weeks in the Premier League after spending most of your career in the Football League.
