Another guy who got an assist for Leeds, Mateusz Klich, was available on a free 3-4 years back but the two teams his agent reached out to weren't interested. He had to settle for Leeds where he has become one of the most important players on the team.
Dont ever ******** with a ring of fire member. Hope he is coaching for the Fire one day. Love the guy.

While I was considering how I was going to get my fill of live soccer now that I'm 5 hours south of Chicago I stumbled on this while investigating the Louisville City FC page. https://www.loucity.com/news_article/show/1143825

FORMER CHICAGO FIRE STANDOUT HUNTER JUMPER BEGINS COMEBACK AT THE GEORGIA STORM https://www.npsl.com/15039/ Hunter Jumper began his career as a highly touted soccer prospect. He had an appearance for the United States U-18 national team, started and won the NCAA Division I championship game as a sophomore with Virginia in 2009, and was drafted in the second round of the MLS SuperDraft by the Chicago Fire. He made a few appearances, highlighted by scoring the game-winner against Sporting Kansas City in 2013. That was the last game he would play in.
I still remember that legendary goal where he literally pulled out a diving header for a ball he could've just kicked. I also remember his Soumare-esque twitter meltdown. I don't remember the contents of it, but I remember that it happened.
