They are 10x the team we are. Deserve to humiliate us each time. The Mongo / Pallotta lovers, like you , whom have been supporting this for years, can't see beyond this.
Today's game showed the weak mentality of Fonseca. At times he is brilliant, but he is pure shit under pressure. Pedro, Karsdrop, and Dzeko should have been off long time ago. And Cristante... really?
I think this should be the end for him. If we have ambitions for top 4 we can't keep capitulating against teams in and around us. We do have a weak squad but thats where a good manager comes in to play to their strengths. We are never going to punch with the big boys with him in charge
We went into the 2nd half with Atalanta starting to get into stride. Instead of subbing off Pedro who didn’t do much of anything, Fonseca again waited too long to make any changes. The Villar and Perez subs should have come much sooner. Im so tired of Pellegrini and Veretout trying to play everything through Spinny. Karsdorp had several good forward passes towards the end of the game and a great cross on the ground with Dzeko 5 paces too late.
Men against boys. That’s us failed to beat Milan, failed to beat Juve with 10 men, humiliated by Napoli and now Atalanta. Embarrassing. It’s time Dan and Co sacked Fonseca and splash the cash if they’ve got any. We are not going to win anything with this squad. Champions League? Haha, not in a million years. Cristante is absolutely terrible - how is this guy at Roma and actually getting game time?
This team, which has been sh The truth hurts , doesn't it? Fans like you... And there are many, have contributed to this shit. Due to the diabolic support for Pallotta's shit every single season. Your band wagon loving BS (like the wimps in Rome , especially the Curva Sud ) , let Pallotta get away with his shit.
Ok, sad little troll child. Continuing to harp on about Pallotta and Mongo, like some kind of simpleton. You're like the longest playing, most utterly tiresome record. Now take this virtual, sympathetic smack across the head and try to grow up a little.
The last match with a top 6 opponent that Fonseca had won was in his playing days, while he was watching from the sideline how him team-mates are carrying out the game. Every. Single. Time. This. mAN. fACES. oPPOSITION. hE. Embarrasses. Himself. A small coach trying to fill big shoes if there ever was one.
Funny, how you resort to insults to "win" the argument. Disappointing, but not unexpected from you. I suggest, you take a long hard look at your self in the mirror... think about how pathetic you sound as well as physically and get a shower....maybe you will feel better. Btw, Your hero Pallotta was the biggest shit to ever happen to this club. Still hurts your little feelings right ? I was right all along, just as you were wrong all the time.
This performance crystalised a lot of things about Fonseca to me, particularly because it confirms many of the negative features we saw in the heavy defeat at Napoli. While he probably can continue until the end of this season, already I have decided that I would not renew his contract because his basline performance-level is too low to be AsRoma coach. I would put him in the same category as Garcia: a generally limited coach with some stengths but too many weaknsesses that he seems unable to resolve.
It took Italian teams over 2 years to figure Garcia out and counter his tactics, while Fonseca wasn't even off his plane to Rome when the same happened to him. + Garcia got robbed of at least one Scudetto vs a much more coptetitive Juve. The only meaningful thing Fonseca ever got robbed off was a parking spot closer to the McDonalds entrance.
Funny how resorting to insults is in fact your staple and always has been. The only one who sounds pathetic here and always has done is yourself. And there you go again with your Pallotta dribble......true to your consistent simpleton form. I suggest you take this second virtual smack across the head like a man and learn from it. Or, you can come back at me again with more of your inanity and I'll give you a virtual clatter across the head instead.
Walking on thin ice sunshine.... I went easy on you, out of the goodness of my heart. Not anymore, think you have cemented your place in the numpty Pallotta dickhead group of elites. You join top posters DC Roma, DDR, NY, Hakoon and Er Pupone....
He has recently taken big scalps from Man City and PSG. His all round game for us was always very good and the mistake was sacking him instead of giving his football Perotti and El Shar on the wings. We jumped the gun on a stable manager. He built a Lille team from scratch and won a title. Hell of a lot more than Fonseca has ever done. There is no comparison to the two as theres many levels of difference between them
Garcia had a relatively well-working attack with the likes of Gervinho - Destro - Ljalic. Give those to Fonseca and we're looking at a relegation battle. And with him we were actually dominating matches, even against direct competitors. Right now every time we fact a strong opposition, the whole team folds like an origami.
In hindsight it would've been nice to see Villar instead of Pedro with Pellegrini further forward, Villar has been in excellent form lately and is only growing I don't think Kumbulla would've made a difference yesterday, the problem was the midfield being over run
