Another good game by Chucky, if Insigne doesn't stupidly get sent off I think Napoli gets at least one point. Chucky was almost the only source of good attacks for Napoli, he was their best player and probably the best player in the game. Napoli also had bad luck with Mertens going off injured early in the game. All opponent defensive game plans will be to stop Chucky and for Napoli to stay in the title race he will need to have even more big performances.
On the plus side, with Mertens's injury and Insigne's boneheaded red card Chucky is sure to get more minutes.

Napoli was not good today, they created only a few chances. Lazio's high press was too difficult for them to get through and when they almost did Lazio would tactically foul. The few times they got beyond the press they created only one good chance. Lazio's gameplan was no surprise and Napoli should have done something different to counteract it. Maybe they should have played more of a 4-3-3 with a defensive striker and wingers pushing up to keep the Lazio wingbacks back. Napoli was playing a 4-2-3-1 and the lack of presence in midfield allowed Lazio to boss the game with their 3-5-2. To be fair Napoli is missing three starters in Osimhen, Insigne and Mertens which allowed Lazio to press without much fear. Unfortunately, Chucky went off injured in the 73 minute. He needs more protection because every game he gets fouled hard at least twice. He had an icebag on his ankle as he was carried off the field, did not look good.

Took him a year, but good to see that he adapted and now is doing well at Serie A. Goals at this point are just a plus. Hopefully Osimhen gets better soon, since Napoli really need a big striker to consistently win against teams that bunker and can qualify to champions next year.

Very good win for Napoli, undoubtedly Zielinsky was the player of the game by scoring the first two goals which were golazos. Chucky did his part by scoring the third goal and three other dangerous chances at goal. Chucky missed two left footed shots one from the edge of the box that went wide and another shot from a cross in the box from Insigne that he should have scored. Chuck also missed a header which was a bit too high and did his best and headed it just over the bar. Chucky was able to score a goal but even without scoring he would have gotten high marks because when the game was 2-1 with Cagliari still in it in the 64th minute he got a second yellow on a Cagliari player which ended any chances of them coming back and then he scored to put the game away. Napoli is staying in the hunt for the title but they will need to beat Inter and Milan next time they meet as well as beat Juventus twice to give themselves a chance at the title.
Gattuso put Chucky as CF lol. You’d think they’d kill that experiment after Ancelotti tried it for like 10 games straight.
Chucky played as the only 9, with Ancelotti he was playing as a secondary striker behind the 9, different position than where he played today. He played well, he set up two good chances for Insigne that he missed. He should have scored at least one. Chucky also had two other chances in the first half, one chance was right at the GK and the other he passed when he should have shot it. The second half he was moved to the right wing at about the 63 minute and he only had two good chances with the ball and he set up a shot nobody took. This was a terrible loss by Napoli, with Juventus beating Milan and Sampdoria beating Inter, Napoli had a chance to move up the standings and blew it. Napoli needs to be more clinical in front of goal, Insigne is supposed to be the star but his star has been too bright this season. Lozano and others need to be more selfish until Insigne gets it going and they get back Mertens.
