No tickets but we are still supporting the Crew! I went out to run an errand and when I got home my wife had put the Crew flag out! Very disappointed not to be at the game! Go Crew!!!

Good to hear from you, Hungariansteven! How's married life? You've got a countryman of sorts in Nemeth on the roster now. Hoping he comes off the bench tonight and scores to put the match out of reach!
So here we are. I remember wondering if the US would have a sustainable league in my lifetime. Once confident, I began to doubt after watching one failed attempt after another. Then I heard about a new league in the works and Columbus was a candidate city. I wondered if we really might have a team. The odds were long. But they were beaten. Then I wondered if this new league would survive. I secretly conceded, that having Columbus, Ohio as the founding city, did not resonate credibility with the sophisticated masses on the coasts. But the league did survive. Sometimes in spite of itself. I remember wondering if I would ever see us win the Cup. We did. Then, several years back, I remember very clearly, wondering if we would win another Cup in my lifetime. I still wonder that of course. But not so long ago, I thought the odds of this possibility were very, very long. But we are now at the door. And since the universe works so hard to keep us from being happy, it wielded its cycle at some of our best guys. How does your heart not break for the players affected. Health concerns as the first priority, of course. But, guys who worked so dam hard to get here. I'm sick just thinking about how they are feeling right now. And if I separate from that, I think about the loss of these men to this team. Dam. So cloudy conditions and an overcast forecast loom over Columbus Crew fans, yet again. Luckily for us, we now how to do this. The boys play inspired soccer whistle to whistle. Crew by 1.
Younger soccer fans don't believe me that indoor soccer was once the top flight of American soccer. Heck, I was 8 before I realized soccer was played outdoors.
Looks like it will be dry during the game. Windy, somewhere between 48-52 degrees the whole time. Not bad for the middle of December.
I'm gonna go put on my signed long sleeve Magic Simon Elliott jersey and fix another drink. No hope. No fear. One love.
Realize that the narrative our Morris is nice but he wouldn’t sniff the starting 11 without Covid. However, this is what competent front offices and organizations do, develop abs prepare the next man. Hoping he has a big big game
I'm assuming that the game is only on 97.1 down there with the Puckeyes playing. EDIT: on radio, it's obviously on 28 on TV.
