I don't know a lot about Minnesota's roster, so I certainly won't argue this point much. But I'm among the very few who thought Big Celery was underrated while in Columbus. I always though he was an effective catalyst as a late sub.
majorleaguesoccersoccerdotcom has a slight edit for Taylor Halfwit: With the Crew set to open a new downtown stadium next year, MAPFRE Stadium will host one final big event with MLS Cup Saturday MAPFRE Stadium to host one more big game with 2020 MLS Cup: "It’s going to be a hell of a final" | MLSsoccer.com
Sold. I'm a fan of Room, and I'm not superstitious, but I am a little stitious, and just overthinking it.
Who is Anthony Precourt and why would we devote even ten seconds of our time in the spotlight as conference champions to thinking about him and his band of queso-eating frat boys? Can't we just be adults for once? It's our third trip to the finals. We are one of the storied clubs in the entire league and we have petulant man-babies who never grew up, on this message board and twitter, wasting their adult lives moaning about AP and Don Garber. Grow up and support the men wearing your team's crest. They are fighting for us. They are dodging COVID, they are missing their families, they are giving everything they have for us. Your focus should be on supporting them. Imagine advocating benching Diaz after the playoffs he has had. Don't talk to me about matchups. Etienne gives us no discernable upside and quite a bit less raw speed/talent. The Seattle Sounders time is done. It's over. This is our time.
the only other possible big event that could happen post-MLS Cup is hosting Broccoli FC in the last game at Mapfre before the new stadium opens.
This couldn't be more true. Should be repped one million times. If at any point during this season, or more specifically this playoff run you've moaned or typed "Dong Arber" or some other derisive nickname for the Arber or Precourt you are a child.
For me, I still make fun of the former and disregard the latter. Messing with "The Don" is fun considering we still have our club and we still have a game to play this year.
Not to give them too much credit. In another article they had CCS opening in 1996 and credit Zelarayan with only 4 goals in all their postseason match preview pages/tabs.
Well, I have grown up, and I’m certainly not wasting my adult life. And I am supporting the men wearing OUR crest. It’s not a binary choice. Those two assholes tried to steal OUR club. Never forget that. The smattering of derisiveness they get in the non-hate threads is well-deserved and most certainly does not take away from our support of OUR club, players, and staff, and the sacrifices they are making trying to bring ANOTHER championship OUR city. IMO, it reinforces OUR support for OUR club that was almost stolen from US. I completely agree. This is OUR time. This is OUR house.
Pretty nervous for this game. Sounders a very good team riding some momentum. Looking forward to avenging the 2010 Open Cup loss.
Jesus H Christ, what an asshole. If some tool like that ever showed up in the Nordecke, he'd get his face punched in.
How has FIGHT AND WIN escaped one's radar after all this time? He even travels to Europe in the summer to soak in the atmosphere.
I don't think that he's an unknown, rather needed to be brought to the forefront as a representative of the team we're about to face. Not that many English matches in the summer to "soak in". More to love can be found here...
Well, we cant let it be said that the Caleb Porter Crew Soccer Show doesn't give its fans what they want. @TKyle or @hardhead , if you could, please edit the title, instead of "Who cares", please put Seattle Hipsters!
