Wondering if anyone knows how often possession changes (ie switches from one team to the other) during a game, on average. I know it's easy to obtain minutes of possession, but I'm looking for something slightly different than that. thanks
There are websites that give counts for the hundreds of passes, so in order to do that I'm assuming they have a pass log of how many consecutive passes each team had at each time, but I don't think that is available. Some statistics might be available to clubs but not fans. Even when statistics are available, I hate when a team's shots on goal doesn't equal the sum of their goals (taking out own goals if there were any) and opponent's saves, and I hate when different sites give different values for the same statistic.
