No. I don't travel for friendlies. It might be a tough ticket with only 2500 available. Will US Soccer charge normal prices or will they use the Covid-19 induced limited capacity to price gouge? Ticketmaster Event Page
Looks like we will find out soon enough but I dont think tickets will be TOO TOUGH given everything...
I just saw that at my first opportunity to use my upgraded ("for loyalty") VIP presale code. Thankfully, normal prices. What happened to the pod of one? "Seats will be sold in "pods" of one to four tickets..." (https://www.ussoccer.com/stories/2020/11/usmnt-to-face-el-salvador-on-dec-9-in-south-florida)
Yep, saw the VIP presale. (that's how the process should work, imo). I won't be going but glad they are working it that way. and prices are reasonable...
Not going but it made me happy simply to see a notification of activity in the travel forum. Here's to greener pastures in 2021 and hopefully many more active threads related to WCQ trips!
If you can't find someone to go with you at the last minute, you could have the box office print paper tickets for you on match day. You could give away the extra or sell it, at cost (of course). Just have the second person move one seat over or you as well to minimize the small risk of contracting the coronadoom. US Soccer is leaving plenty of spare room in the stands, every other row with only two pods per row. (https://www.ussoccer.com/competitio...-salvador#stadium-information-&-covid-policy-) Enjoy the game!!!
