The 433 is suiting us better, however we still have only created 1 chance that fell for mertens. Maybe mertens, insigne and Osimhen should rotate in a 433 instead of the 4231 which doesn't work enough
I get your point, but I think he was pointing out the truth nonetheless. It is plain simple; we showed more than Milan and we were better footballwise, yet we lost anyway. The obvious conclusion is that we cannot deal with that kind of games properly.
I haven't really liked Fabian in a while, he is solid but he is toothless in everything else. Lozano is a gem, we need to improve him and he will be a diamond. So far, he has done well, but he needs to learn just when exactly his creativity has run out and play it differently afterwards.
It doesn't matter, the motivation is here today, we are all over them and play most of the game in their final third. What has that given us? 1 mertens chance. I still think we're lacking in terms of chance creation under Gattuso

This was nothing disastrous, but it was painful to watch indeed. But to be honest, this is our usual attitude in EL, with the difference that this time we actually did sth, thought we could have easily lost the game, or won it. We were better than them in terms of getting chances out of the blue, while they were much better in their buildup. Our passing was terrible to say the least, this cannot continue even if we did improve in finding a way to score from nothing, because I don't want to see this team not being able to pass the ball to a teammate 2 meters away, 50 times in a single game. It's just tragic and ********ing ugly and lame. Our bench needs to improve and our captain needs to do much better than this; however, let's not forget that we were playing our bench and that AZ are not an easy team to play against. They drew with Sociedad, and Real is doing great at the moment. They have exactly that kind of team that can exploit the situation when top teams play the bench, motivated and talented to the last degree.
