I think what is notable is that the last sub was David. How has he fallen! I'm sorry but I never saw it with Weah. If he moves somewhere, he should try a league where he's good enough to create a goal on his own, like the Ligue 2 or the Serie B.
Let’s relax with ligue 2 and serie b talk lol. So he may not be a champions league player in a top 5 league... that doesn’t mean he couldn’t play for like a Nantes or a Sampdoria.
Having watched him at Celtic I see a possible significant upside in Weah. I hope his agent can find him a playing situation in January.
Weah's agent is BS Group - BS Law. The guy is a lawyer and only has 15 players on his books. Its BS I tell ya!
The CEO's of Coors, Budweiser and Guinness are having their annual get-together. This year, they're sitting in the cavernous boardroom of the Guinness Brewery in Dublin. As they sit down at the old table made from ancient barrel staves a waiter appears and asks them what they would like to drink. The CEO of Coors says "I'll have a pint of Coors please... the world's most refreshing beer!" The CEO of Budweiser says: "I'll have a pint of Bud... the king of beers!" The CEO of Guinness says: "I'll have a glass of water please." Astonished, the other two look at him and ask why on earth he wasn't going to have a pint of Guinness. "Well" he says "if you two aren't going to drink beer, then neither am I."
I heard that in Germany with a Dortmunder (Pils) Düsseldorfer (Alt) and Kölner (Kölsch). Depends on who tells the story as to who drinks cola/water/lemonade because the other two aren't drinking (real) beer. I'd be happy with any of those three; but Coors or Bud over Guinness? Erg.
Ha- now that's funny coming from a Charlotte NC resident. Charlotte is one of the very few places in the world (outside Düsseldorf) where Altbier is popular. God knows why, but the town just can't get enough of Olde Mecklenburg Brewery's Copper (which, despite the name, is actually a true to tradition pure-bred Altbier). Old Meck makes a lot of good beers . . . but the Copper just really isn't one of them . . .
I appreciate OMB's effort. Nothing like the real thing, tho, especially standing outside in Old Town Düsseldorf in/at the "longest countertop in the world"!
I'll always have a soft spot for Coors just because it's integral to the plot of Smokey & the Bandit.
Newcastle United might be interested in a player like Weah. If they could get him for day €5 million ($6 million) they'd stand to make a nice little profit if he lives up to expectation.
I once lived in Newcastle and I feel Craig Ferguson said it best... https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/news/north-east-news/north-now-n-word-1498238
Pils was first brewed in Pilsen in 1842 by Josef Groll, a Bavarian invited over by the Bohemians to finally brew some decent beer.
