You could make Flick as a coach of this sorry a55 team and the result won't be different much. All the players already lost confidence with everyone on the board and management team. Just like DFB, total revamp and replacement from up top is required

Schalke literally is the new HSV. When the club culture is toxic and the overall dynamics is broken, then there's not much that can be done. Just like HSV and Stuttgart before, sometimes a club just needs to be relegated in order to reboot and rebuild from the core.

I expect Arminia Bielefeld to be relegated too since the quality just isn't there. Mainz and Köln haven't been too hot to start the season but at least they've won a game now. Freiburg and Hertha also continuing to struggle.

crazy how quality Schalke was 10 years ago always in CL and one of best in Germany and they drew quality players like Raul and Huntelaar. Now look at them......yeah like dfb was on high now crash and burn.

doesn't help 3 players being axed for unprofessionalism, locker room must be shit.

Leverkusen looked tired and lifeless today being held to a scoreless draw vs Hertha and miss out on a chance to go even on points with Bayern and leap ahead of Leipzig for 2nd place

    DEFENSE ANGELIÑO BEST GOAL SCORER
Nagelsmann counts Leipzig striker Access Alexander Sörloth missed a penalty against Bielefeld, is still without a RB hit A

In terms of points, things are going well for RB! The 2: 1 against Bielefeld was the fifth victory in the fifth Bundesliga home game for Leipzig. And while attacking Alexander Sörloth (24) is still waiting for his debut goal for the Bulls, defender Angeliño (23) shot the Bulls for the next three. Coach Julian Nagelsmann (33) praised the Spaniard, who is Leipzig's top scorer with six goals this season, again after the final whistle - and criticized his attackers:

"Angel is currently taking over the job of the striker who, from Yussuf (Poulsen; editor's note .) Apart from that, don't hit that well. " Nagelsmann counts his strikers! And further: "We should try to be more dangerous." Only five of the 25 RB goals in the current season made an attacker. Yussuf Poulsen (26) scored four times. Sturm colleague Sörloth has been waiting for a goal for 464 minutes. Even with the help of his teammates, it doesn't work.

Emil Forsberg (29) gave the Norwegian a penalty against Bielefeld - in vain. Nagelsmann: “I don't think that a penalty goal is a knot for a striker, but not converting it is obviously worse. Alex needs the necessary luck so that the ball finally goes in. ”The same goes for Justin Kluivert (21). Nagelsmann said about the performance of the winger even before the Bielefeld game: "He and I both want things to get better and the overall impact greater."

There is not much time left for this. Before the Champions League game at Basaksehir Istanbul on Wednesday (6:55 p.m.), the team only trains completely once. Nevertheless, Nagelsmann demands: "We have to improve significantly." Especially the strikers ...

Shakhtar scored and are currently up 2-0 vd Real Madrid. About 10 mins left in this match

If they pull it off, Shakhtar would sit 2nd place and ahead of RM in Group B

    Gladbach to play later today

I used to be in the pro Kroos camp until recently, but he looks completely washed unless everything around him runs smoothly so he can add to the team with his pin-point passing.

Sommer has been a bit of a liability in several big games this season.

Inter pretty much running the show so far, complete control of the game. They're also fighting for their last chance at advancing more possible thru Europa route. This and the next game are gonna be the true test of Gladbach's fortitude.

what crap defending from Bayern. Why did Mbi have to defend against 2 players alone??? While Sane (I believe) just standing there.

Sule should have done better in box.

Inter had a chance to up 2-3 goals in first half. Some last ditch defending by Stefan Lainer, Tony Jantschke and few saves by Sommer prevent the 2nd goal. I barely saw Plea touch ball then just like that he equalized.

BMG need to play more calmer on 2nd half.
