Really need to go after a keeper next summer if Pau isn't going to be used. There are so many solid options even just in Italy.

Played like trash. But also unlucky in that this was literally the worst time to play Napoli all season. Especially in Napoli.

Still only a point off 2nd.

Theres nothing to suggest that this team will even care they lost. Pedro sharing a laugh and a joke at the full time whistle sums it up. Theres something empty about this squad.

Absolutely shocking performance. I don’t care about the reasons for them turning up - we have to be professional and at least match them. The body language and overall attitude was terrible. Literally gifted them a victory for Maradona, not good enough

My God, running back and forth between making Sunday spaghetti sauce , I kept thinking Roma would score at least once.

Was Napoli that motivated because Maradona passed away or was it because Roma is that bad or both?

The performance was as bad as it gets. We have zero chance of winning when all of our front three are out of form. Karsdorp and Cristante did their part, the rest not so much.

The most important thing now is to bounce straight away and win the next 3 league games before traveling to Bergamo. Nobody said this team will never lose, but how you react is the most important thing.

Villar did well after coming on as well.

And to be fair, JJ was not a disaster today.

Like I said, I'm chalking this one down to wrong fixture at the wrong time, mainly. Unfortunately the likes of Nelly is in tune with this too, so we have to listen to his dribble for awhile. He'll crawl back under his rock and reemerge at the next opportune time.

Mirante seemed like he was in a daze as well on 2 of the goals...

No. I am here all the time. I comment when most needed good and bad. I am a fan just like everyone else. You believe this was just a "one-off" and we are a great squad. I do not believe this, is it so difficult for you to respect other peoples' opinions.?

This is the 77th time when Gattuso is out-coaching Fonseca magica. Not Conte, Pep, Mourinho, Sir Alex... but the mighty Gattuso.

People would always run for excuses for Fonseca, today we were unlucky to face Napoli because of that, yesterday it was the fact that they're used to the Pompeii air and Fonseca wasn't, the day before that they've had an amazing Napoli style pizza and our squad didn't, the day before that it was because Petrachi needed time to place his Angry Birds shot well on his phone... always excuses in this sub-forum.

Next time Fonseca gets out-classed by Gattuso, which will be in spring, we'll hear how the Flat Earth magnetic field is doing strange things to our boys and Napoli's squad is benefiting from living closer to the world's edge and being more accustomed to the 5G waves that are blasting the area.

I'll paraphrase my German language tutor's favorite German saying:
"Tomorrow, tomorrow, just not today, say all the Incompetent Coaches"

    Morgen, morgen,
    nur nicht heute,
    sagen alle,
    faule Leute.

Pretty difficult to get positives out of this one. I thought we were trying to absorb the pressure and get them on the counter, but Miki ruined every one of those break away chances.

Hopefully Lopez has built up the confidence to take over the starting spot. That was a pretty poor showing from Mirante who’s been solid so far.

Karsdorp seems to have improved his fitness, but the team insists on playing through the left and having spinazolla try to go through 3 defenders.

Villar seems to do all of the things I hoped we would get out of Pellegrini. Kid is going to be great.

I'm so surprised Roma looked so clueless today with all that you've won over the last 10 years I expected a better performance from a champion team like yours.

Haven't almost all Roma fans resigned themselves to expecting mediocrity from their team? I think La Magica has, maybe you guys should all follow his lead because he sounds like the only one who knows what he's talking about on here. The rest of you are closet EPL fans and fell in love with Totti at one point. Face it, the best Roma will ever be was the best he ever got them to be. 2000-2006 were your best years and that was a long long time ago.

Milan has their first decent season in like 10 years and their glory hunting fans have the swagger of a Real Madrid fan. This is to funny.

No team other team in Serie A has won a scudetto since Milan won it last so its understandable.

Interestingly , that team also had Zlatan Ibrahimović among a crowd of many superstars.......
