Contract renewal talks between Roma and Riccardo Calafiori have stalled https://t.co/NCF7aEqc3Q— RomaPress (@ASRomaPress) November 25, 2020
Wide pass on him. He's not impressive as a 10. From what Ive seen, I would liken it to Pellegrini. Technical but doesnt have the skill to play there well.
#ASRoma will use the option to extend Henrikh #Mkhitaryan’s contract (expires in 2021) for another year, even if it’s possible a new agreement until 2023. In December they will talk with Mino #Raiola to finalize the deal. #transfers— Nicolò Schira (@NicoSchira) November 27, 2020
Petrachi: “I tried to make it clear to Friedkin that I would gladly continue the job I started, but that’s not a possibility now.” https://t.co/GL2Zmq6d3g— RomaPress (@ASRomaPress) November 27, 2020
If having a DS was the equivallent of having a GF: Sabatini: The one you cheated on and regretted it ever after Moronchi: The one that lied she's pregnant, spent all your savings on shoes, gave you herpes and then left you to be with her deadbeat ex Petrachi: The one that wanted some space, but keeps calling your family and friends to guilt you into getting her back after you told her to f off. Fienga: The one night stand that looked like an 8 on your 2nd whisky bottle, but turned out to be a 4 at dawn Pinto: The one with three middle school kids that you've scraped from the bottom of the online dating barrel

I don’t know if Pannes advised the Friedkins or not, but Charles Gould definitely did. You can expect that the club’s strategy will look a lot like what is being explained in the article.

That is a great article and he is 100% correct. Ok, I admit, I love this article because it's exactly what I have been saying for a long, long time. Hire a really good DS for long term with a clear vision of the style of play. I also like the part that analytics is a filtering tool only. I also think analytics can be a useful tool in finding players you wouldn't normally find. Analytics can help 'find' them, then you can go put eyeballs on him.
None of that is new concepts in football. The previous owner just made it into a clown show by the end.
Up until this week the only player out on loan that's played any significant minutes has been Florenzi. Hopefully this is the kickstart Kluivert neeeds.

From the academy to the pros ✍️🐺💪 Riccardo Calafiori has signed a new long-term contract with the club! 🤝 #ASRoma— AS Roma English (@ASRomaEN) December 15, 2020
I would have loved Gomez last year, but now... we have Mikh and Pedro and adding another player at the same position at the end of his career doesn't give us balance. I'd rather have Gomez than Pedro and maybe even Mikh but we have them and it's done. We need a player that can play wide to give our roster flexibility. Right now the only player we have that can play out on the wing is Perez.
I’ll be surprised if Gomez doesn’t end up in the Middle East or MLS. At his age, going for the biggest payday possible is the smartest move.
