- Henderson (or why not loan him out)

- Axel (guy needs game, Lindelof esp needs a rest as carying injury)

- Williams probs @ RB (we need attacking RB option - as AWB very defensive -and Brandon needs minutes if he is to be bench FB sub)

- Telles (needs some games but sub him out early and switch Brandon to LB eg if sub is RB)

- vDB (throw the guy a bone)

- Cavani (likewise)

- Mason (not sure the story but according to Ole may be ready fitness wise)

 

I don't know why when Cavani comes in, Mata goes out every time. I dont remember seeing them play together yet. I bet there is good football chemistry there. I think Mata's style suits Cavani.

 

Can only imagine the reception he would have gotten if there was a crowd present today.

That's what I meant in my previous post. TUDN is showing it on their streaming service only. Can usually count on one of those channels, whether it's them, Galavision et al to broadcast it. Not today unfortunately: can only hope that does not become something regular...

Shame that we couldn't secure at least a point in Turkey: qualification would have been in the bag today with how this game is going.

 

I don't think so. We'd have 10 after today and potentially both RB and PSG would have 6. If we lost to both of them and they both beat Istanbul in their other games, they'd have 12 to our 10.

If we had won in Istanbul we'd almost certainly be through (based at least on our head to head GD v. RB).

Still, win today and we're in as long as we draw either of our final 2...
