Heard Lainez did well and came in after the team was down 4-0 anyway. Fans asking for more minutes but it's hard to weed out the Mexicans in the comments.

He looks fast. I honestly don’t buy anymore that the physical is still holding him back. I think lately he just hasn’t gotten the minutes he deserves.

    He played well.

Great to see him keeping his head up while he dribbles.

Needs to make crisper passes. Physically he looks better. Now he needs playing time. Hopefully he can get a loan to a la liga side.

Betis started the season really good but lately they've been bad. In the beginning Laínez wasn't playing but now that the team needs something different he should be getting more playing time.

Different game, same shit. Lainez gets 20 minutes of PT after Betis are down 2-0. He looks good. Really can't see why he's getting this amount of time. They're not garbage minutes but he's not a miracle worker either. He wouldn't be at Betis if he was.

i am no expert but whomever told lainez that going to Betis was a good idea should be ashamed of themselves. Any person could have predicted this. That team does not develop talent, they need players to contribute right away since most seasons they are few bad games away from relegation zone. Cautionary tale for other in the future I hope.

I believe Guardado was the one who convinced him.

I mean, he doesn't do himself any favors either. It's troubling for a player whose greatest attribute is dribbling to not be able to beat players. Then again, it's difficult to ask him to hit the ground running when he isn't given any continuity.

Lainez on the bench and Guardado not on the roster for today's game vs. Granada.

Granada takes the game 2-0, Lainez did not play.

I also think he should go elsewhere at the end of the season. He needs continuity and he isn't getting it with Betis.
