City denied a pretty clear pk for a Sissoko handball and a few minutes later on a textbook counter spearheaded by Kane, Lo Celso makes it 2-0.
Wouldn't bet against it the way the league is shaping up this season, with no team looking head and shoulders better than the rest. They've got a decent sized squad also and if they can avoid injuries to key players, they should there at the end in my estimation.
Alderweireld is a perfect example of a player Tottenham probably can't afford to lose for an extended period. They've got a few CBs numbers wise but he's been their best one this season: was superb today.
Interesting article on Mou and relationship with Spuds fans. I think the relationship between Mou and the Chief-Exec (ie listening to him on recruitment) is key to getting the best from Jose, summed up in the following quote. Mou is still a ticking time-bomb but they are looking to be on course for his routine 2nd season bump. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/55001368
Pool showing today what a serious team is all about. Have all the excuses in the world to be dropping points today but their play reflects a determination to not let that happen. As much as you hate seeing it, it is what it is and only wished we had that kind of coaching and attitude/determination. Will only serve them in good stead and make them more dangerous if they can ride things off until some of their casualties return. They're not going to give up that title easily by the looks of it...
I wish we had a board who backed their manager like Liverpool have backed theirs. Their title winning side of last year were all Klopp signings bar Henderson, TAA and Gomez I think. This summer they added depth in Jota (attack), Thiago (midfield), Tsimikas (left-back) - ironically the same three positions more-or-less that we added depth in with Cavani, vdB and Telles, only they already have a complete and balanced team and we very clearly have significant gaps in our first-team that Ole wanted to fill (eg Sancho, Upa, Grealish) and the board ducked. Comparing us to Liverpool the lack of attack down one side for us is glaring. We even managed to make that worse this year by letting both Young and Dalot go and replacing neither, meaning our options after the defensive AWB at RB are not good at attacking either - such as Crystal Palace reject Fosu-Mensah etc.
Will be interesting to see how our upcoming league game vs Soton develops and particularly, if we can find some form/put a solid display on the day. Regardless though, this will not be an easy match for us and they could be a pain to deal with. Even without the threat of Ings upfront, they're still well organized at the back and move the ball around pretty well going forward. Hassentutl is proving to be a pretty decent coach.

One rule for media darlings Klopp and Pep, one for everyone else - sure he will get away with it. 📸 - Jurgen Klopp walked towards the linesman to applaud him sarcastically. Let’s see if the FA suspends him for that. pic.twitter.com/9Ccj2FUm5E— 𝐀𝐅𝐂 𝐀𝐉𝐀𝐗 💎 (@TheEuropeanLad) November 28, 2020

Nani will be playing in an MLS playoff match against a tricky NE Revolution side in a half hour if anyone wants to keep the footy fest going after Arsenal/Wolves. Nani and Daryl Dike are the ones to watch on Orlando.
Best wishes Raul that looked and sounded awful Dont think any intent from David Luiz, is just how those types of header are - once you are in the air and committed there is always a danger of that outcome sadly. 1333130273723195407 is not a valid tweet id This looks dangerous 😐David Luiz 😡😡Get well soon Raul Jiminez ❤️ pic.twitter.com/tyFWQyQYmL— Iram Ridwan (@iram_ridwan) November 29, 2020
Just the way Mourinho likes it to secure the point he was looking for today at the Bridge.
