What a fantastic performance. This is what Liverpool in crisis looks like. No Virgil, Gomez, Trent, Hendo, Thiago, and Salah. Those of some of the best players in the whole world. But the players who took the pitch at Anfield are outstanding players as well. Curtis Jones is excellent. Naby Keita was great. James Milner was bossing the game at right back and then slotted nicely into midfield. Sadio Mane is brilliant. Bobby Firmino was great, and finally got the goal he desperately deserved. Diogo Jota is the gift that keeps on giving. Name a better centerback partnership in the Premier League than Joel Matip and Fabinho. If they can play every week, we will be totally fine. Leicester were top of the league. Liverpool were in crisis. Now it seems ridiculous that we ever worried about this game. It seems ridiculous that I started worrying about Chelsea and Spurs yesterday. Liverpool are the best team in England. Liverpool are going to win the league again.
