Jones and Wijnaldum have been excellent in cutting off the passing lanes to Vardy and preventing 1 on 1 foot races with Fabinho and Matip. Exactly the type of concentration we've required for some time.

 

Midfield has been in complete control

 

That Jota fella is not so bad, I can’t remember, wasn’t everyone delighted with his signing?

 

So far, so OK. Domination but sparse for goals. Nice touch with that header. Nice header from that crying face Johnny Evans as well.
Good practice game and so far Vardy has been kept under control. I saw him once. No really.

As “they say” it is a game of two halves. That’s why I lament only two goals.

I'm liking young Jonesy out there. He’s showing some confidence.
