transfer window is open (until october 5th) business is slow Hannes-Wolf-loan-deal might be close though, very close fixed dates: july 26th: DFB-Cup-draw early august: pre-season starts august 12th : testmatch vs SC Verl (3. Liga) august 15th : testmatch vs MSV Duisburg (3. Liga) august 17-23th: trainingcamp Klosterpforte (no beautiful Tegernsee this summer, instead it’s slaughterhouse territory) august 22th: testmatch vs SC Paderborn (2.Liga) september 11-14th: DFB-Cup round 1 september 18-21st: Bundesliga matchday 1 october 1st: Champions-League-draw and then there will be the times of high clock rate-soccer; ‘English’ weeks one after another (incl. the inescapable obligations for several national teams) starting with Bundesliga-matchday 4 (october 16-19th): CL matchday 1: 20./21. Oktober 2: 27./28. Oktober 3: 3./4. November 4: 24./25. November 5: 1./2. Dezember 6: 8./9. Dezember well, I guess the Europa-League loss vs Erdogan’s Club (which won the Turkish championship) last season helped a lot… it helped to reach CL-soccer… this season it’s gonna get tough! but that's what we wanted, right? interesting to see how club, Rose and team are coping with the workload...
one friendly more: Sept., 4th in nearby Venlo against VVV (Dutch top-level) [all friendlies readily accessible on Youtube and Foolbook] season tickets are sold out already (30.000; only valid for Rückrunde) [well, COVID-19 infections are rising again in Germany and even more in nearby Netherlands and Belgium... so the upcoming season is far from 'secure'... still plans for the step-by-step return of the supporters are in progress) first Bundesliga match at the yellow wannabe-champions... that's great so we can show them right from the start where the hammer hangs (yeah I know, this isn't an English phrase ;-) and on matchday 34 the Meisterschale will be presented in Bremen (to us of course) 1. Spieltag: Borussia Dortmund – Borussia (18. – 21. September) 2. Spieltag: Borussia – Union Berlin (25. – 28. September) 3. Spieltag: 1. FC Köln – Borussia (2. – 4. Oktober) 4. Spieltag: Borussia – VfL Wolfsburg (16. – 19. Oktober) 5. Spieltag: 1. FSV Mainz 05 – Borussia (23. – 26. Oktober
first two pre-season matches: two 4-0 wins (I failed to watch) today training camp at Klosterpforte/Harsewinkel starts unfortunately Zak, Tikus and Plea are far from being fully loadable at the moment the headquarters of agricultural machinery manufacturer CLAAS are located in Harsewinkel maybe some of the players will buy some adequate equipment (instead of this boring & unimaginative sports/luxury cars again and again) adequate? maybe a 48 feet-cutting range harvester for Lainer (up and down and up and down and...) or a 925 horsepower field chopper for Embolo... that would be cool! go for it! just now economy needs impulses!
Fuerth pre-season game is ON on Facebook right now.... https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=227009695373934
ok guys cant rem his name the new guy with locks..one we just signed..he is something of a wizard and very technical... let's see if injuries will stay away from him b/c after all Gladbach is world-known for that!
shaking off a 3-0 battering by our regular punishers BVB during the season opener...is, not something you can pick up the pieces simply!
First season and a new coach...well lets face it you can let it slide. But all the hype about rose being compared to Klopp is fading away for me.Perhaps last season we where very lucky with the schedule? ive said this many times first few games of the season makes a huge difference at the table...getting BVB or Bayern for example followed by a few hard nosed teams will seperate you from top of the table...and we are stll "NOT" a tem to play catch up....so second year with rose i was hoping to see more of the Jurgen Klopp effect but ....from where i am looking at it so far we look more like pumkin pie!
Pardon me while I interrupt my ongoing bout with major depression to ask a simple question: Just how many gophers did Mainz actually pay to tear up their field like that????
Man you wonder if low stays the FACK away from our players its much bettter....just when hoffman was turning into an instrumental tool in rose's arsenal.....he is ,well let me stop there! I susspect with that kind of injury you are out till after winterpause!
ken my english...sorry.This one went over my head...u mean if they even continue with the league with the return of the WUHAN VIRUS???
You probably right here in Alberta everything is shutting down and they literally stop u from entering any place without a mask. Btw whats your opinion on this Hnnes wolf fellow....u know i either go all the way in or out...a bit black and white so to speak....just like how i don't like Vanilla D in the NFL I think he has massive potential both technical and also without the ball...i think he can even orchestrate our offensive midfield...at the moment think he is very disappointed he has not been able to leave his mark... what's your impression?
@Ken Sorry about all the questions Have you noticed the PUMA warm up kits and pre-game suits have a huge PUMA logo on the back...but the same item identical item in the s Shop Does not have the PUMA??Do you have any idea?? Sent them many emails...but seems like they hate English have to contact my support group ( Nerveblank) and as the Duke ( head of our fan club)
5th or 6th game in a row...giving up valuable points in stoppage time! Soon this will turn into a psychological thing And talk about the huge void Jonas Hofmann's injury has created?? The entire team was limping on one leg whenever they wanted to fire up and link up offensively!
at least we now finally GOT a point in stoppage point... 7 new players (but the overplayed defence had to stay because of a lack of options), a good start followed by a stupid penalty against us followed by an irregular goal against us followed by another lousy defended goal against followed by A LOT OF terrifying benign minutes of Borussia followed by a great finish (especially of the great Stindl) I couldn't even watch all Gladbach matches, but from what I saw Stindl for me is the leader AND the best player this season so far, I'm so relieved he came back strong after his heavy injuries
I can't watch due to ESPN taking the matches and putting them all on their streaming service. But I'm going to try the highlights on the Bundesliga page later in the week (they usually show up a day or two later).
Man this VAR is actually destroying the game than helping it! It was only showing the time "Thuram" stood up and was standing his ground the hoppenheim player was standing right above him and taunting him...Thuram red card was deffo BS.The quality of referees in Germany ( with or w.out VAR) continues to slide deeper and deeper into the crapshoot!
