You should have stopped long ago

    You shouldn't have been.
Just walk that shit back, and you'll look reasonably bright in doing so

If I knew what you wanted me to 'walk back' I might do but from what I can tell you seem to be asking me to say the only thing that matters is the 'feelz' of various parties involved in political decisions, not reality, and that's beyond idiotic.

I recall some research on this - that people don't mind handouts, so long as it isn't the wrong people getting it - which of course is exactly the crap GOP always stirs up

    Tax and Spend! Waste! Socialism!

This is why, IMO a conservative administration could run a populist agenda and hand out pork and run huge deficits while the Dems can't.

    @Naughtius Maximus
You keep trying to suggest that there are class issues, and of course there are.
But the driving narrative of American politics at this juncture is race.Any implication to the contrary will be met as it has been.
Also, this is Big Soccer and there is no such thing as a throwaway comment.

Yes ... the 2 or 3 times he was there completely made Alex Jones. Not like he built his following from radio back in the 90s.

I don't really think that I was but I obviously didn't express my point clearly enough so, for that, I apologise.
Yeah, I get that and, tbh, I tend to agree.

I suppose I envisaged the logical outcome of my point was that the dems would be better off ignoring the WWC, (or, at least, the ones who wouldn't vote for them anyway), and simply put forward policies that helped people in similar situations.

But, like I say, I probably should have said that explicitly, in terms, rather than it being implied.
Well, that's always been true :D

Also, particularly atm, people are on edge and aren't inclined to cut anyone any slack which is not unreasonable I guess.

    Sorry guys :(

Just looking at the states that might go his way it could end up being a relatively healthy lead in electoral college terms, even if not as good as we'd hoped.

That this election is taking sooooo long is really maddening and frustrating to me.

On the other hand, it must be a million times more maddening and frustrating for Donald Trump and that makes me phenomenally happy.

That's a good point. The delay has also allowed some of his cronies in the media and politics to distance themselves from him.

I suppose it also means his supporters have more time to get accustomed to the idea. It must be hard to maintain an extreme level of anger for days on end.

I'm not hearing a lot about the 8000 or so largely military ballots that are expected to still arrive in Georgia. Or maybe some of them are already there. Seems these could heavily lean Trump and make up for any Biden advantage.

Is there a discussion in media outlets about this that I am just missing? Seems enough to still make Trump the favorite in GA.
