    1) everyone is entitled to their own opinion
    2) it is obvious that he saying this only because he is trying to get an advantage that he needs
    3) is anything he said really outlandish, save for 10,000ppl better than beckham?

i think he was trying to imply that there would be no goalie :p haha

i didnt even catch that one. i noticed that the team looked very offensive and even had room for a DM, but the 3man backline i guess made it look normal to me.

good job for catching that one.

Very bad news. Confirmed starting 11:
    Casillas
Arbeloa - Pavon - Helguera - Roberto Carlos
    Figo - Beckham - Zidane - Solari
    Raul - Ronaldo

Only 2 minutes to start one of the biggest games of the season. A really great rivaltry between the 2 teams, only the games against Barcelona and Valencia can be compared with this game. Really hot game.

Atletico the madrid hasn't lost any game at home this season. In my opinion RM line up is too offensive, but luxe didn't have other good options, for a game so big and a so terrible athmosphere against the team like this one, when you need players with experience, a defense with arbeloa, pavon and mejia and helguera in middle can be too risky. Celades could be another option, but not convince me very much.

Is Beckham is the center or did Figo move to the left giving the right to Beckham?

Atletico is SO close to score. They had 4 clear opportunities in few mins. But Cassilas is unbelieveble tonight.

    HT
    1-0

Real is very lucky to be in the lead after first half.

How was Ronaldo's goal? This would be a fantastic result winning the derby in the Calderon...

I know it was mentioned that we were lucky to be ahead at the half and we should be thankful for Iker, but how has the rhythm of the game played out so far? Are we getting some decent attacking done or is it all defensive? I'd love to see Raul net one here early in the second...

    Salva out, Paunovic in.

Nothing happened in the first 20min of the secound half, but now it looks like Atletico will score anytime soon. The only thing that is keeping Real in this game is Cassilas. Now I can see why he is nro.1 in Spain.
