If Zidane isn’t going to use Jovic we may as well play Asensio in the middle if Benz ever gets a rest. Less touches on the ball for Asensio the better.
He was totally out of his depth today. Couldn't defend, couldn't utilize his good attacking positions after getting past the player. He was resting Jović for this occasion!
Good game, some nice combos and finishing. A few thoughts. That Hazard goal, wow. It’s your time to shine bud, him and Benz could be great if healthy. Like others said if we can figure out RW... Asensio shows promise at time but nothing convincing. Valverde is really rounding his game out. Really exciting to see him progressing. Eder was fine with Ramos, with Varane it’s a different story. What a better teacher/mentor than Ramos to bleed him in. Good game to play Modric. Bring him on as a super sub in the bigger games for most impact. Big one coming up, keep the momentum going.
Didnt see the match but saw the goals. Liked hazard not celebrating it shows he is mentally there. Knows he has lost form and needs to produce. Im hoping he becomes that player that makes the opposition worry whenever he gets the ball. And when we watch we know something is gonna happen. Same feeling i got with ronaldo and since he has left not player has given me that excitement feeling or have me saying 'oh shit you pissed him off he gonna slaughter you' then proceeds to score a hat trick in the champs league semis.
No fans and maybe recent champ league performances have made the players realise they are performing the best.
And when did benzema get the fitness to play whole matches?? Im sure during ronaldo era he was always subbed off. In fact im so sure of it i remember subbing him of whenever i played pro evo or fifa, just to keep up with tradition.
he gets plenty of rest during the international breaks and ofcourse he rested for months during the quarantine

We definitely looked a lot less erratic with Eder partnering Sergio, even with Marcelo in the mix. I vote Zidane uses this lineup with Ferland replacing Marcelo. Until Raphael gets his head out of his ass, I feel like this is the most responsible lineup. Eder wasn't exactly amazing, but he has a lot fewer matches under his belt than Raphael does. Give Raphael games here and there to test if he's able to get back into his groove, but until then he should be benched. He has thoroughly pissed me off with his underwhelming and brainless performances. I'm happy to see the Benzema and Vinicius Jr thing won't be an issue, they played fine together in the 2nd half. Looks like the mister sorted the thing out between the two. Also excited to see Rodrygo and Eden getting back into action with productive performances. Huesca isn't exactly a tough team, so I'm not gonna read much into this. It was good enough to break our duck. But the Inter game is gonna require an extraordinary effort from everyone involved.
